Ebrahim,also known as Chit Lwin,is a Rohingya lawyer,accountant and former politician. He was elected as a Parliament of Myanmar MP in 1990 election. He was the chairman of the National Democratic Party for Human Rights. The party was later banned by the Burmese military junta and its members are barred from contesting elections.
Ebrahim was born in 1946 in Myuthugyi village of Maungdaw. His father was Master Siddique Ahmed. He attended the State High School in Maungdaw. He graduated from the Rangoon Institute of Economics with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1967. He received a post-graduate diploma in economic planning from the Institute of Economics in Rangoon. He later studied accountancy and law,becoming a certified accountant and auditor. He joined the Ministry of Finance in 1967 and worked there till 1983. Since 1984,he has been a lawyer in the High Court of Rangoon.
During the 1990 Burmese general election,Ebrahim contested from the Maungdaw-1 constituency and won the election with 20,045 votes out of 64,019 votes. [1] His party won four seats in the Burmese parliament.
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi,sometimes abbreviated to Suu Kyi,is a Burmese politician,diplomat,author,and pro-democracy activist who served as State Counsellor of Myanmar and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2016 to 2021. She has served as the general secretary of the National League for Democracy (NLD) since the party's founding in 1988 and was registered as its chairperson while it was a legal party from 2011 to 2023. She played a vital role in Myanmar's transition from military junta to partial democracy in the 2010s.
The National League for Democracy is a deregistered liberal democratic political party in Myanmar. It became the country's ruling party after a landslide victory in the 2015 general election but was overthrown in a coup d'état in February 2021 following another landslide election victory in 2020.
Rakhine State,formerly known as Arakan State,is a state in Myanmar (Burma). Win Myint is a Burmese politician who served as the tenth president of Myanmar from 2018 to 2021 where he was removed from office in the 2021 coup d'état. He was the speaker of the House of Representatives from 2016 to 2018. He also served as a member of parliament in the House of Representatives from 2012 to 2018. Win Myint was viewed as an important ally of State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi. As Suu Kyi was the de facto leader of the country,Win Myint was seen as a puppet of her.

The Arakan National Party,is a political party in Myanmar (Burma),representing the interests of the Rakhine people in Rakhine State and Yangon Region.
