Choccolocco Park is a baseball stadium located in a municipal park of the same name in Oxford, Alabama. The NCAA's Ohio Valley Conference utilized the stadium for its postseason conference baseball tournament after the 2017 and 2018 seasons. [1]
League Park was a baseball park located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. It was situated at the northeast corner of Dunham Street and Lexington Avenue in the Hough neighborhood. It was built in 1891 as a wood structure and rebuilt using concrete and steel in 1910. The park was home to a number of professional sports teams, most notably the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball. League Park was first home to the Cleveland Spiders of the National League from 1891 to 1899 and of the Cleveland Lake Shores of the Western League, the minor league predecessor to the Indians, in 1900. From 1914 to 1915, League Park also hosted the Cleveland Spiders of the minor league American Association. In the late 1940s, the park was also the home field of the Cleveland Buckeyes of the Negro American League.

The Centenary Gentlemen baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. The team is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC), which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division III. Prior to 2011, Centenary was a member of the NCAA Division I, and competed in the Summit League. The Gentlemen are coached by Mike Diaz. In 2013, the Gents won the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season, the school's first regular season championship since 1988. The Gents repeated as SCAC regular season champions in 2015.
The Sunbelt Baseball League (SBL) is a non-profit collegiate summer baseball league with teams located in metropolitan Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia. The SBL is a member of the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball, which is partially funded by Major League Baseball. Games are played with wooden bats. The season starts in early June and runs through the end of July/early August, with playoffs determining the league champion.

The tournament champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I baseball tournament. Among current members, Austin Peay has won the most championships, with six, while Belmont, SIU Edwardsville ,and Tennessee–Martin have never won championships. The Tournament began in 1979.

This year was the second straight year it was held at the neutral site in Oxford instead of on the home field of the No. 1 seed. The tournament winner, Jacksonville State, earned the OVC's automatic bid to the 2017 NCAA Division I softball tournament. All games were streamed courtesy of the OVC Digital Network.
