Chockstone Pictures is an American independent film production company founded in 2004 by the husband-and-wife team of Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz. [1] The company is headquartered in Malibu, California. [2] The company's filmography includes The Road , The Tree of Life, Killing Them Softly, [3] and All the Old Knives. [4] [5] Chockstone Pictures' founders also founded Schwartz Communications, a public relations agency. [6]
