Choggu Mmanaayili is a community in Sagnarigu District in the Northern Region of Ghana. It is located along the Tamale-Kumbungu trunk road. It is a populated community with nucleated settlement. [1]
Tamale, officially called Tamale Metropolitan Area is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana. Tamale is Ghana's third largest city. It has a projected population of 950,124 according to the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly Official Website. It is the fastest-growing city in West Africa. It is located 600 km (370 mi) north of Accra. Most residents of Tamale are Muslims and Dagombas by tribe, as reflected by the multitude of mosques in Tamale, most notably the Central Mosque, Afa Ajura Mosque, Afa Basha mosque and The Ahmadiyyah Muslim mission Mosque.
The Northern Region is one of the sixteen regions of Ghana. It is located in the north of the country and was the largest of the sixteen regions, covering an area of 70,384 square kilometres or 31 percent of Ghana's area until December 2018 when the Savannah Region and North East Region were created from it. Hamza Mohammed is a Ghanaian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He played for Real Tamale United for 8 years before joining Kumasi Asante Kotoko in 2002. Mohammed also featured for the Ghana Black Starlets, Black Satellites, Black Meteors, and the Black Stars. He captained the Black Satellites in 1999 and was in the Black Stars squad that took part in the 2006 and 2002 African Cup of Nations. Mohammed was Deputy Captain of the Black Starlets squad for the 1997 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Mohammed is currently the Head Coach of Ghana Division One League club Tamale City Football Club.

Zagyuri is a community in Tamale Metropolitan District in the Northern Region of Ghana. Tamale School of Hygiene is situated at this location. It is located along the Tamale-Bolgatanga trunk road. Zagyuri is a large populated community and one of the finest modern designed structures located in the new settlement. Zagyuri Anglican, Miskaya School, Ambition and many other schools are local schools. A spinal clinic is also located here.

Sagnarigu Municipal District is one of the sixteen districts in Northern Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Tamale Municipal District in 1988, which was created from the former West Dagomba District Council, until a small northern part of the district was split off to create Sagnarigu District on 24 June 2012; thus the remaining part has been retained as Tamale Metropolitan District. However, on 15 March 2018, it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Sagnarigu Municipal District. The municipality is located in the northwest part of Northern Region and has Sagnarigu as its capital city.
