Choturtha Matra is a 2001 Bangladeshi television drama film written and directed by Nurul Alam Atique. The film based on a story in the same name written by Shahidul Jahir. [1] It stars Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Tamalika Karmakar, Sonia Zafar, M.M. Morshed, Shamsul Alom Bakul and Fazlur Rahman Babu.
The film won Meril Prothom Alo Critics Choice Awards in 2002 in three categories. [2]
The story of a lonely man who caught in a perpetual cycle of time. He hangs in limbo, between reality and dreams. His only companions a maid, a cat, and a grandfather clock. The same things are happening in his life and he becomes increasingly frustrated.

The Bangla Academy is the official regulatory body of the Bengali language in Bangladesh. It is an autonomous institution funded by the Government of Bangladesh that fosters the Bengali language, literature and culture, works to develop and implement national language policy and conducts original research in Bengali. His novels and short stories are highly acclaimed for their originality of language and narrative technique. He contributed to Bengali fiction a distinct style, known as the "Shahidul Zahiriya".
Fazlur Rahman Babu is a Bangladeshi actor and singer. He won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor a record five times for his roles in Shonkhonaad (2004), Meyeti Ekhon Kothay Jabe (2017), Fagun Haway (2019), Bishwoshundori (2020) and Nonajoler Kabbo (2021). He also won Best Performance in a Comic Role for Gohin Baluchor (2017).

August 1975 is 2021 Bangladeshi political drama film based on the immediate aftermath of assassination of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The film is produced by Selim Khan whose production company operates as Shapla Media International Ltd. Afsaruddin Bhuiyan, Kazi Mizanur Rahman and Nasuir Uddin also join the film as executive producers. Selim Khan directed the movie alongside Shamim Ahamed Roni. Masuma Rahman Nabila, Tauquir Ahmed and Shahiduzzaman Selim have been cast in various leading roles. The film portrays history of the killing of Rahman on 15 August, till his burial on 16 August. Principal photography of this film begun on 10 July and ended on 29 July 2020. The film was released on Cinebaj on 15 August 2021, the National Mourning Day in Bangladesh.
