Christopher Paul Ashling (born 26 November 1988) is an English cricketer who coaches for the Cheshire Cricket Board following his release from Glamorgan. Born in Manchester,he is a right-handed batsman and bowls right-arm medium-fast.
Ashling began his cricket career with Bowdon Cricket Club and began playing for their first-team in the Cheshire County Cricket League as a 15-year-old in 2004,when they won the league for the fourth time in five years. He also played for the Cheshire Under-15s side and,on 17 August 2004,he was selected to play for the Lancashire Second XI against Essex Seconds. The following year,he progressed to the Cheshire Under-17s side while continuing to play for Lancashire Seconds until 2007,when he began attending UWIC in Cardiff and joined the Glamorgan academy. He made his first appearance for the Glamorgan Second XI on 5 September 2007 against Middlesex Seconds. In 2008,he ceased playing for Bowdon and instead played his club cricket for Sudbrook Cricket Club in Monmouthshire.
Ashling made his Minor Counties Championship for Wales Minor Counties against Dorset on 26 May 2008. He played for Wales Minor Counties and Glamorgan Seconds throughout the 2008 and 2009 seasons,before making his first-class debut for Glamorgan away to Leicestershire in the County Championship on 2 September 2009;he took three wickets and scored 12 runs in a drawn match. [1] He also made his List A debut against Leicestershire on 6 September;he took one wicket and scored six runs,but Glamorgan lost by 23 runs. [2] He made two more Pro40 appearances in 2009,before continuing in the side in 2010.
Ashling was released by Glamorgan at the end of the 2012 season. [3] Unable to find a new home with a first-class county,Ashling returned to his former club,Bowdon CC,and took up a coaching position with the Cheshire Cricket Board. [4]

Glamorgan County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Glamorgan. Founded in 1888,Glamorgan held minor status at first and was a prominent member of the early Minor Counties Championship before the First World War. In 1921,the club joined the County Championship and the team was elevated to first-class status,subsequently playing in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England and Wales.
Malcolm Andrew Nash was a Welsh cricket player and coach. He played first-class cricket for Glamorgan. Nash was a left-arm medium-pace bowler and useful lower-order left-handed batsman. He made his debut for the county in 1966 and was released by the county after the 1983 season. He captained the county in 1980 and 1981. He took the most wickets for Glamorgan in 1969 when it won the county championship. In 1985,he played his last one-day match for Shropshire. Between 1966 and 1983 in his 17 years career,Nash took 993 first-class wickets,scored 7,129 runs and held 148 catches. He died on 30 July 2019 in London at the age of 74 years.
James Cullum Tredwell is an English former international cricketer. A left-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler,he played his domestic cricket for Kent County Cricket Club and was appointed as County Captain for the 2013 season. He made his debut for Kent in the 2001 season,nine days before his first appearance for England Under-19s. He often fielded at slip.

Against India,England were unbeaten,winning the Test series 1–0 and the ODI series 2–0. However,against the Pakistanis England lost 2–0 in the Tests,and had to console themselves with a 2–1 ODI series victory.

Gareth David Cross is an English cricketer who plays for Clifton Cricket Club in the Greater Manchester Cricket League. He is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper who occasionally bowls right arm medium-fast. He played for Lancashire from 2005 until his release in 2013,and the following year signed for Derbyshire. In 2015 he returned to Clifton as professional having earlier come through their junior ranks.
Edmund John Holden Eckersley,is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He was a core player of Leicestershire from 2011–2018. After his release from Leicestershire he signed for Durham.

The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
The 2021 County Championship was the 121st cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. For the first phase of the tournament,the teams were split into three groups of six,with each side playing ten matches. The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
The 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that formed part of the 2021 English cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side,having List A cricket status,with all eighteen first-class counties competing in the tournament. The tournament started on 22 July 2021,with the final taking place on 19 August 2021 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Somerset were the defending champions winning the 2019 tournament,with no tournament taking place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2022 County Championship is the 122nd cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. The season is scheduled to run from 7 April to 29 September 2022.
