Christopher James Cash (born July 13, 1980) is an American football coach and former defensive back. He is the defensive coordinator and safeties coach for Albany State University, positions he has held since 2022. Cash played professionally for the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons.
He attended Franklin High School in Stockton. [1]
Cash played college football at the University of Southern California and graduated in 2002. He was All-Pac-10 second-team as a senior for the USC Trojans. [2] He transferred to USC from Palomar College in San Marcos, California. [3] Cash accepted a scholarship to University of Colorado out of high school, but a mix-up with his transcript prevented him from enrolling. [1]
Cash was selected by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round (175th overall) of the 2002 NFL draft. [4] He started in 12 games and had 100 tackles and one interception his rookie season with the Lions, but he missed the 2003 campaign with a knee injury. [5] In 2004, Cash played in 11 games for the Lions, starting five. He was waivee on September 3, 2005. [6]
Cash signed with the Atlanta Falcons on September 19, 2005, [6] [7] but only played in three games. Cash spent the 2006 season (after September 2) on injured reserve. [8] Unable to stay healthy, he was released thereafter by the Falcons and did not play another NFL game. [9]
He served as defensive coordinator for Franklin High School's football team for five years. [9] In March 2013, Cash was hired as safeties coach at Florida A&M University. [9]
On March 25, 2015, Cash was named as an assistant secondary coach for Seattle Seahawks. [10]

He was previously the head football coach at the University of Southern California (USC) from 2001 to 2009 and the head coach of the Seahawks from 2010 to 2023. Mosiula Mea'alofa "Lofa" Tatupu is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for six seasons with the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans. Tatupu was selected by Seahawks in the second round of the 2005 NFL draft. After his playing career, he was an assistant linebackers coach with the Seahawks.

Mike Smith is a former American football coach. He served as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 2007 to 2014. Smith has also served as the defensive coordinator for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. During his tenure as head coach of the Falcons, Smith became the franchise's winningest head coach by number of wins in addition to being the recipient of the 2008 NFL Coach of the Year Award by the Associated Press and was also voted NFL Coach of the Year Award by the Sporting News in 2008, 2010, and 2012.
James J. Schwartz is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He was head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009 to 2013. He was also defensive coordinator for the Tennessee Titans from 2001 to 2008, Buffalo Bills in 2014, and Philadelphia Eagles from 2016 to 2020. In addition, Schwartz was the Senior Defensive Assistant for the Titans from 2021 to 2022. He won Super Bowl LII with the Eagles in 2018.

He was the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons from 2017 to 2018.
Lawrence Christopher Jackson is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Seattle Seahawks in the first round of the 2008 NFL draft. He played college football at USC.
Zachary Ross Robinson is an American football coach who is the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). He played quarterback at Oklahoma State and was selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL draft. He was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions, and Cincinnati Bengals before retiring in 2013. Robinson became a coach in 2019, serving as an assistant coach for the Los Angeles Rams.
