Chris Hartsburg (born May 30, 1980) is an American former professional ice hockey player and now head coach of the Erie Otters.

He was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the 7th round (214th overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. Before entering the NHL, he played junior hockey for the Omaha Lancers and NCAA hockey for Colorado College. [1] He was an assistant coach with the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League from 2011 to 2013 [2] before taking an assistant coaching position with the Erie Otters for the 2013-2014 season. [3] From 2014 to 2017, he was the head coach for the Lincoln Stars of the United States Hockey League. [4]

Hartsburg is the son of former NHL player and coach Craig Hartsburg, and was born in Edina, while his father was a member of the Minnesota North Stars.

On June 20, 2017, Hartsburg was named the head coach of the Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League. [5]

Everett Silvertips ice hockey team

The Everett Silvertips are an American major junior ice hockey team currently members of the U.S. Division in the Western Conference of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The team is based in Everett, Washington, and joined the WHL as an expansion team for the 2003–04 season. The team name comes from the silvertip bear. The team plays at Angel of the Winds Arena, a $71.5 million multipurpose complex built in 2003 that seats 8,300 for hockey. Baltimore Skipjacks Former minor league hockey team in Baltimore, Maryland

The Baltimore Skipjacks was a minor league professional ice hockey team from Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The Skipjacks originated in 1979, and played as the Baltimore Clippers in the Eastern Hockey League for two seasons. The team was renamed to Skipjacks in 1981, and played the following season in the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. The Skipjacks then played eleven seasons as members of the American Hockey League (AHL), from 1982 until 1993. The Skipjacks were one of three AHL teams to have been based in Baltimore, including the Baltimore Clippers, and the Baltimore Bandits. The Skipjacks operated as a farm team to the Pittsburgh Penguins and Washington Capitals for five seasons each, and were previously a farm team to the Minnesota North Stars for two seasons, the Boston Bruins for one season. The team played its home games at the Baltimore Civic Center, which was renamed to the Baltimore Arena in 1986.

Craig Hartsburg Canadian ice hockey defenceman

Craig William Hartsburg is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player and head coach, who currently serves as an amateur scout and defense development coach with the Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Hartsburg played ten seasons with the Minnesota North Stars of the NHL as a defenceman from 1979 until 1989, captaining the team for seven NHL seasons before pursuing a coaching career. Hartsburg has coached in the Ontario Hockey League, the Western Hockey League, and has previously been an NHL head coach with the Chicago Blackhawks, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Ottawa Senators.

The 2001–02 OHL season was the 22nd season of the Ontario Hockey League. Twenty teams each played 68 games. The Erie Otters defeated the Barrie Colts for the J. Ross Robertson Cup.

David Angus "Dave" Barr is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey right winger who played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, St. Louis Blues, Hartford Whalers, Detroit Red Wings, New Jersey Devils and Dallas Stars. He is currently an assistant coach for the San Jose Sharks and was previously an assistant coach for the Florida Panthers, Buffalo Sabres, New Jersey Devils, Minnesota Wild and the Colorado Avalanche. Michael Patrick Stapleton is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played fourteen seasons in the National Hockey League from 1986 until 2001. Throughout his career Stapleton played for the Chicago Blackhawks, Pittsburgh Penguins, Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, Atlanta Thrashers, New York Islanders and Vancouver Canucks. Denny Lambert is a former professional Canadian ice hockey player and member of the Batchewana First Nation. Lambert was drafted in the Ontario Hockey League where he played for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for three years. He then played 2 seasons in the International Hockey League with the San Diego Gulls before signing as a free agent with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim of the National hockey league. He was then signed as a free agent with the Ottawa Senators in July 1996 and went on to play for the Nashville Predators (1998-1999) and the Atlanta Thrashers. He rejoined the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (2001-2002) for his final NHL season before finishing off his career in the American Hockey League with the Milwaukee Admirals. He also coached the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the Ontario Hockey League from 2008–2011. He went on to be a First Nations Police Officer with the Anishinabek Police Service. Denny graduated from the Ontario Police College in November 2012. Zachary Robert Hamill is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre who is currently playing for EC Bad Nauheim of the DEL2. Hamill was drafted in the first round, eighth overall by the National Hockey League (NHL)'s Boston Bruins in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning professional, Hamill spent his entire Western Hockey League (WHL) career with the Everett Silvertips.
