Chris Manchester (born 28 June 1973) is a former speedway rider from the United States. [1] He earned 3 caps for the United States national speedway team. [2]
Manchester is a former North American Champion, winning the AMA National Speedway Championship in 1992. He also won the United States Champion in 2000 and 2005. [3] [4]
He rode in the top tier of British Speedway from 1994 [5] [6] until 2003, riding primarily for the Belle Vue Aces [7] but did race one season for Somerset Rebels in 2003.
The Belle Vue Aces are a British speedway club, based in Manchester. The club hold the record of having won the top tier League championship 13 times. They currently compete in the SGB Premiership, racing at The National Speedway Stadium, with home matches usually taking place on Monday evenings. They also run a second team in the National Development League, known as the Belle Vue Colts.
