Christopher Ngoro Agibe is a Nigerian politician and engineer. He was a member representing Boki/Ikom Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives. [1] [2]
Chris Ngoro Agibe was born in 1961 and hails from Cross River State. He completed his secondary education at Comprehensive Secondary School Ikom,Cross River State in 1978. He bagged a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Ife,Ile-Ife,Osun State in 1984. He was elected as a federal lawmaker in 2019 and served until 2023. He was succeeded by Bisong Victor Abang. Between 1986 to 1990,he served as the Commission Officer,NA-Army Engineering. He was the Head of Sustainable Energy,United Cement Company from 2007 to 2012. Iwo is a city in Osun State,Nigeria. The Iwo people,like all other people of the Yoruba kingdom,are said to have originated from Ile-Ife,where they migrated sometimes in the 11th century according to Alademomi kenyon and Prince Adelegan Adegbola (2009). The university was founded in 1961 and classes commenced in October 1962 as the University of Ife by the regional government of Western Nigeria,which was led by Samuel Ladoke Akintola. It was renamed "Obafemi Awolowo University" on 12 May 1987,so by the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida led military administration,in honour of Obafemi Awolowo (1909–1987),the first premier of the Western Region of Nigeria,who initially thought of the idea of establishing the university.

University of Cross River State also known as UNICROSS is a state-owned tertiary institution with four campuses spread across four Local Government Areas of the state. The University was formerly known as the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH). It was renamed in February of 2021 by a bill passed at Cross River State House of Assembly which was then approved by the former Governor of the State,Benedict Ayade. Agbokim waterfalls are situated in the Etung local government area of Cross River State in the South-South region of Nigeria,very close to its border with Cameroon. The waterfalls are about 25 km (16 mi) from Ikom and 240 km (150 mi) from Calabar.
