Christian Lavieille (born 16 December 1965) is a French racing driver and former motorcycle road racer.

As a motorcycle racer, he won the FIM Endurance World Championship in 1998 and the Bol d'Or three times (1996, [1] 1999 [2] and 2001).

David Checa is a Spanish professional motorcycle road racer. He is four time FIM Endurance World Champion, winning the title in 2004, 2014, 2016-2017 and 2018-2019. He was Japanese Champion in the 1993 F1 All-Japan Road Racing Championship on Kawasaki, 2001 in S-NK All-Japan Road Racing Championship on Suzuki and 2003 JSB1000 All-Japan Road Racing Championship on Suzuki. He won the 1998 Superbike World Championship round at Sugo as a wild card rider for Suzuki. Kitagawa coming 16th in the season's overall standings. He was a semi-regular in the Superbike World Championship in 1995, finishing 17th overall with a best finish of 4th, on a Kawasaki. Kitagawa finished 2nd in the Suzuka 8 Hours race, teamed with Akira Ryo. He was also a three-time winner of the Bol d'or endurance race. He retired from racing at the end of 2003, after winning the 2002 and 2003 Endurance World Championship.

The 2019–20 FIM Endurance World Championship was the 41st season of the FIM Endurance World Championship, a motorcycle racing series co–organised by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and Eurosport. The season started at the Bol d'Or on the 21 September 2019 and ended with the 12 Hours of Estoril on the 27 September 2020.
