Botswana,officially the Republic of Botswana,is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. Botswana is topographically flat,with approximately 70 per cent of its territory part of the Kalahari Desert. It is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast,Namibia to the west and north,Zambia to the north and Zimbabwe to the northeast. With a population of slightly over 2.4 million people and a comparable land area to France,Botswana is one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world. It is essentially the nation-state of the Tswana people,who constitute nearly 80 per cent of the population.

UB is ranked 1201–1500 in the world and 21st in sub-Saharan Africa in the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Ranking.
Baldwin Wallace University (BW) is a private university in Berea,Ohio,United States. Established in 1845 as Baldwin Institute by Methodist businessman John Baldwin,it merged with nearby German Wallace College in 1913 to become Baldwin-Wallace College. There are two campus sites:Berea,which serves as the main campus,and Corporate College East in Warrensville Heights,Ohio. The university enrolls approximately 3,300 full-time undergraduate and graduate students as of fall 2024. From 2011 to 2019,she served as Botswana's High Commissioner to India.
Dutlwe is a village in Kweneng District of Botswana composed of people from the Bakgalagadi and Basarwa tribes. The population of Dutlwe was 1,464 with 692 males and 772 females in the 2022 census. As part of IDDS Botswana 2018,a bean thresher was installed in the village due to bean farming beaning one of the villages main sources of income. The village chief,Motshegetsi Puleng,was arrested for stabbing his girlfriend on July 4,2020. In November 2022,2 village residents died after drinking tea that had been suspected to be poisoned. 4 others in the family also went to the hospital,but barely survived. There is a Calvary Baptist church in the town led by Pastor Thokwane.
