Christine Garner is an American former volleyball player who was a three-sport athlete at Arizona State University (ASU). [1] She played for the United States women's national volleyball team from 1994 to 1997. [1]
As a collegiate volleyball player, Garner still holds the ASU record of 1,871 career kills, and led ASU to its two finest seasons in history. [2] As one of the most illustrious players to ever take to the court for the Sun Devil volleyball program, Garner also ranks in the top 10 in career digs and service aces. She was a six-time Pac-10 Player of the Week and was also a recipient of a National Player of the Week honor. In addition to her numerous accolades at ASU, Garner was an AVCA second-team All-American in 1995. [3] [1]
Garner was also a star performer on the ASU softball team, and captain to both the ASU women's volleyball and basketball team. Garner went on after college to be part of the United States women's national volleyball team. [1] [4]
Garner was inducted into the Arizona State University Hall of Fame in 2009. [2]
Garner won the silver medal with the national volleyball team at the 1994 Goodwill Games in Saint Petersburg. [5] Other world-class tournaments that she participated in included the 1997 World Grand Prix and the 1997 NORCECA tournament. [1] She left the national team in 1997 and played two seasons with the European Professional Volleyball League in Turkey and Italy. [1]

Christopher St. John "Sinjin" Smith is an American former professional beach volleyball player. He was the first player to win 100 career tournaments, and won numerous Manhattan Open titles with Karch Kiraly and Randy Stoklos as partners.
Beverly ("Bev") Oden is a former volleyball player from the United States. She played middle blocker for the United States women's national volleyball team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
The Arizona State Sun Devils are the athletic teams that represent Arizona State University. ASU has nine men's and eleven women's varsity teams competing at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I level as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Nikolay Vasiliyevich Karpol is a Russian women's volleyball coach and a longstanding coach of the Soviet national team and later the Russia women's national volleyball team. Known as The Howling Bear, Karpol was a regular at the Olympic Games, with his teams usually earning a last call on the Olympic podium, winning gold medals in 1980 and 1988 and taking the silver medals in 1992, 2000, and 2004, for a total of five Olympic medals. In 2020, he set a new world record by coaching Uralochka for 51 years.
Kimberley Yvette "Kim" Oden is a former volleyball player and two-time Olympian who played on the United States women's national volleyball team.
Yevgeniya Viktorovna Estes, née Artamonova (Артамонова), is a Russian former volleyball player who was a member of the national team and one of only two volleyball players that competed consecutively in six Olympic Games. She won silver medals at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, and the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
Danielle Racquel Scott-Arruda is an American former volleyball player. She played at the 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, and the 2012 Summer Olympics, breaking a U.S. female volleyball athlete record for Olympic appearances.
Tonya Slacanin, formerly known as "Teee" Williams or "Teee" Sanders, is a retired female volleyball player from the United States. She won a bronze medal with the USA National Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. She also competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, finishing in seventh place.

Liz Masakayan is a Filipino-American former indoor and beach volleyball player, and current coach. She participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics with the United States women's national volleyball team, and as a beach volleyball player won a total of 47 tournaments in her career.
Lisa Love is an American former volleyball coach and athletic director. She was the athetic director of Arizona State University. At the time, Love was one of only three female athletic directors in a Division I FBS Bowl Equity Conference of the NCAA. Love began her administrative career at USC. Prior to becoming an administrator, Love served as the volleyball head coach at the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of Southern California, leading her teams to the NCAA Division I Volleyball Tournament 13 times. In 2005, she was inducted into the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Hall of Fame.
Tammy Leibl is a retired American female indoor volleyball and beach volleyball player. She played college volleyball at Arizona State University and won the bronze medal with the U.S. national team at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
