Campbell County, Georgia was a county of the U.S. state of Georgia from 1828 to 1931. It was created by the state legislature on December 20, 1828 from land taken from Fayette, Coweta, and Carroll counties, and from the half of DeKalb County which became Fulton County soon afterward. Golden Park is a 5,000-seat baseball stadium in Columbus, Georgia, United States, that opened in 1951. Located on the Chattahoochee River in Downtown Columbus, it currently is not home to any professional baseball team. The exterior of the Golden Park is a red brick façade and has many well-landscaped sidewalks that connect to the Chattahoochee RiverWalk. Doug Redmond led the park to the most successful park attendance record in 1992. Golden Park is named after Theodore Earnest Golden SR, co-founder of Goldens' Foundry and Machine Co.. Golden led the effort in Columbus for the city's first South Atlantic League team. Golden Park was renovated in 1994 in anticipation of the softball events of the 1996 Summer Olympics that were held in the city of Columbus.In 2013, Golden Park was the home of the Beep Baseball World Series Championship game. The Taiwan Homerun Team beat the Austin Blackhawks by a score of 5-2.. It also was the home field of the Columbus Catfish from 2003-2008.
Muckalee Creek is a creek in southwest Georgia. It originates southeast of Buena Vista and flows south-southeast for 76.3 miles (122.8 km) and into Kinchafoonee Creek north of Albany, just upstream of that creek's confluence with the Flint River.
A. J. McClung Memorial Stadium is a 15,000-seat sports stadium located in Columbus, Georgia. It was the site of football games between the Georgia Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers from 1916 until 1958. The stadium now hosts the Fort Valley State–Albany State and the Tuskegee–Morehouse rivalry games, as well local youth football and soccer and high school football games.
Upatoi is a community in northeastern Muscogee County, Georgia, United States. Upatoi was annexed by the city of Columbus, Georgia in 1971 as part of the consolidation of the city and county governments. The community is on Georgia Route 22 and U.S. Route 80 approximately 15 miles east of Columbus. Upatoi Creek is on the southern boundary of Muscogee County approximately three miles south of the community.

The entire city area, consisting of historic Columbus Mill area and the associated mill village owned by the Bibb Manufacturing Company, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Bibb City Historic District.
The Aflac Building, located in Columbus, Georgia, was ordered in late November 1974, the groundbreaking ceremony took place January 4, 1975, and the tower was complete and occupied on December 19, 1975. The tower is the tallest building in the U.S. state of Georgia outside of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, Savannah, and Augusta. It Is located about 1 mile east of downtown. The building is 246 feet tall. It serves as the headquarters for Aflac, an insurance company. The tower was to modernize the downtown Columbus area along with the Columbus government center built a year earlier.
Sixteen Mile Stand is a census-designated place (CDP) in Symmes Township, Hamilton County, Ohio, United States, 19 miles (31 km) northeast of downtown Cincinnati. The population of Sixteen Mile Stand was 2,928 at the 2010 census.
