Christopher Chishimba Kang'ombe (born 25 December 1984) was the mayor of Kitwe,Copperbelt Province,Zambia between 2016 and 2021. [1] [2] [3] He is an engineer by profession. [4]
Kang'ombe was first elected as a Zambian Councillor whilst still studying in university (for Riverside Ward in Kwacha constituency),becoming the first Zambian to do so. [5] He was a councillor for two terms (from 2006 to 2016) [5] before becoming the mayor for Kitwe District for one term (2016 to 2021). [5] He is the current member of parliament for Kamfinsa constituency,having been elected in 2021. [4]
The United Party for National Development (UPND) is a liberal political party in Zambia,led by Hakainde Hichilema,the current president of the country. The party is an observer member of the Africa Liberal Network.

Godfrey Chitalu,nicknamed Ucar,was a Zambian footballer who played as a forward. He is widely regarded as the greatest Zambian player of all time as he holds his national team's goalscoring record and was voted Zambian footballer of the year five times. In 2006,he was selected by CAF as one of the best 200 African footballers of the past 50 years.
Presidential elections were held in Zambia on 30 October 2008 following the death of the incumbent President Levy Mwanawasa on 19 August 2008,as the elections had to be called within 90 days of his death. It was expected that there would be internal problems within the ruling Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) as Mwanawasa had not declared a successor prior to his death,but Acting President Rupiah Banda was selected as the MMD's candidate without apparent problems. Chishimba Kambwili is a former member of the National Assembly of Zambia for Roan Constituency in Luanshya District. He has also held several posts in the cabinet. He is the former leader of the National Democratic Congress.

Nicknamed 'Bubble',Malitoli is one of Zambia's most decorated players and was Zambian league top scorer in three consecutive seasons,as well as top scorer in Tunisia in 1993 and 1994. He is regarded as Nkana Football Club's most prolific striker after Bernard Chanda. He won the CAF Champions League with Tunisian club Espérance in 1994 and featured at four CAN tournaments in 1990,1994,1996 and 1998. The route from Tanzania to Lusaka is Zambia's Great North Road and is part of the Tanzam Highway.

Joseph Malanji is a Zambian politician and business executive who previously served as a member of the National Assembly for Kwacha constituency. He was Minister of Foreign Affairs between 2018 and 2021.
