Christopher John Sutton-Mattocks (born 10 July 1951) is an English barrister and former first-class cricketer.
The son of Terry Sutton-Mattocks,he was born at Hammersmith in July 1951. He was educated at Winchester College,before going up to St Edmund Hall,Oxford. [1] While studying at Oxford,he played first-class cricket for Oxford University 1972 and 1973,making six appearances. [2] He scored 107 runs in his six matches,at an average of 8.91 and a high score of 37. [3] Sutton-Mattocks also played List A cricket for Oxford in the 1973 Benson &Hedges Cup,making four appearances. [4]
A member of the Middle Temple,he was called to the bar in July 1975. [5] He stood for the SDP–Liberal Alliance in Maidstone in the 1987 general election,finishing second to Ann Widdecombe. [6] He was appointed a recorder in 1996,but stepped down in March 1998 following allegations of impropriety against a pupil at his chambers. [7] He continues to work as a barrister and is a governor at Sevenoaks Preparatory School. [6]

Nicholas Edward Julian Pocock is an English former first-class cricketer who played county cricket for Hampshire between 1976 and 1984,making over a hundred appearances in both first-class and one-day cricket. He served as Hampshire captain from 1980 and 1984,having succeeded Bob Stephenson. He later served as president of Hampshire and sat on the committee of the Marylebone Cricket Club.
Sir Francis Eden Lacey was an English cricketer,cricket administrator and barrister. Lacey played first-class cricket for Hampshire from 1880 to 1896,either side of the club losing its first-class status between 1886 and 1894;it was during this period that he captained Hampshire in 1888 and 1889. A prolific batsman for Hampshire,he scored over 2,000 runs for the county in 33 first-class appearances,which included a double century against Kent in 1884. As a roundarm slow bowler,he also took 45 wickets for Hampshire,including three five wicket hauls. He made additional appearances in first-class cricket for Cambridge University and the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC),amongst others. In a minor fixture against Norfolk he made 323 runs,which remains the highest individual score in second-class county cricket.
Hamilton Ross was an English cricketer who made 20 first-class appearances between 1874 and 1891. He played twelve first-class matches for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC),and also appeared for Middlesex and Somerset. A right-handed batsman,he occasionally played as wicket-keeper.
Alexander Lindsay "Alec" Hosie was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket in both England and British India. In England,he was mostly associated with Hampshire,for whom he made 80 first-class appearances. In British India,he played for the Europeans cricket team in the Bombay Tournament,in addition to being Bengal's first captain in the Ranji Trophy. Hosie was the chairman of selectors for India's first home Test series against England in December 1933–March 1934. He later served as the president of the Calcutta Cricket and Football Club from 1945 to 1948.
