The Church of Our Lady and St Catherine of Siena is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Catherine of Siena at 179 Bow Road, E3 in Bow, east London. Designed by Gilbert Blount, it opened in 1870. Formerly the parish was run by a community of Dominican nuns, but it is now run by the Archdiocese of Westminster. [1]

Edward Welby Pugin was an English architect, the eldest son of architect Augustus Welby Northmore Pugin and Louisa Barton and part of the Pugin & Pugin family of church architects. Gilbert R. Blount

Gilbert Robert Blount (1819–1876) was born at Mapledurham, near Reading, on 2 March 1819, the second child and son of Michael Joseph Blount and his wife Catherine. Blount was educated at Downside in Somerset,, and he began his professional training as a civil engineer with Isambard Kingdom Brunel, working on the construction of the Thames Tunnel. He was the Superintendent of Construction in 1841 and, during one of the many floods, narrowly escaped drowning.

St. Mary – St. Catherine of Siena is an historic Roman Catholic parish in Charlestown, Massachusetts. It resulted from the 2006 merger of two older parishes, St. Catherine of Siena on Vine St. and St. Mary's on Warren and Winthrop. The parish occupies the latter's building, which was one of the later masterpieces of Patrick Keely. Built between 1887 and 1893, its ornate interior boasts stained glass windows by Franz Mayer & Co. and a hammer-beam oak ceiling with angels, carved by Keely himself.

St Dominics Priory Church Church in London, England

St Dominic's Priory Church is one of the largest Catholic churches in London. The church is Grade II* listed building on the National Heritage List for England. It has been served by the Order of Preachers (Dominicans) since 1861, the community living in the adjacent Priory.
