Ickenham is an area in Greater London, forming the northern part of Uxbridge and within the London Borough of Hillingdon.
The London Borough of Hillingdon is the largest and westernmost borough in West London, England. Beverley Grammar School is a boys’ day school secondary academy school in Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. A school may have been founded here about 700 AD and on that basis the school is claimed to be the country's oldest grammar school and the eighth oldest school overall, but the existence of a school here is not continuous. The present school shares a joint Sixth form with Beverley High School. The school has received an 'Outstanding' in Ofsted inspections in 2006, 2008, and in 2010. However it was unable to sustain such a high level record when deemed 'requires improvement' in 2013. The school was re-awarded 'outstanding' in September 2021.
