Kjetil Wold of Stavanger aftenblad noted that "Ugress make music for the ears and eyes. Ugress makes music you run your own inner short films to — the band's music is downright cinematic. In this sense, "Cinematronics" is a good title. Ugress works best in the lingering and slowly crawling songs - such as "Bad dreams come true" with its mix of both black and white crime noir, Gregorian chant and Arabic music." [3]
Morten Schwarz Lausten of Gaffa stated that "The concept sounds familiar: something resembling samples from movies (whether they're actually from films or not doesn't really matter for the immediate experience of the music...) layered over dragging beats of various kinds, and then supplemented with mood-setting soundscapes and programmed breakbeats." Viking Fotballklubb, commonly known as Viking or Viking Stavanger internationally, is a Norwegian football club from the city of Stavanger. The club was founded in 1899. It is one of the most successful clubs in Norwegian football, having won 8 Norwegian top division titles, most recently in 1991, and 6 domestic Norwegian Cup titles, most recently in 2019. The club has played more top-flight league games than any other club in Norway. It has played in the top division since the league was established, except for the years 1966–67, 1987–88 and 2018. Ugress is an electronica project from Bergen, Norway, the main project of electronic musician Gisle Martens Meyer (GMM). Meyer started his music career in the early 1990s making Scream Tracker and Fast Tracker modules under the alias Gnosis. Among Meyer's other projects are Nebular Spool, Shadow of the Beat and Ninja9000 as well as scoring soundtracks for moving pictures and several TV-shows.

Eliksir (Elixir) is the second studio album by Norwegian hard rock band Skambankt. The first single "Tyster" received a decent amount of radio airplay, and it entered the Norwegian album charts on 8th place the week after its release. A video was made to promote the record's second single "Dynasti". The "Intro", which is the main riff of "Nok et Offer" played on church bells, was played on the bells of the clocktower of Oslo Rådhus in Oslo and recorded. "Nok et Offer" originally appeared on the Skamania EP, but was re-recorded for this album. The track "Siste Stikk" was recorded in the independent studio Suksesslaboratoriet rather than the Propeller Music Division Studio.
Here We Go Then, You And I is a 1999 album by Norwegian pop artist Morten Abel. It was Abel's second CD as a solo artist. The album went straight to number one on the Norwegian album chart, and sold to double platinum. Among the singles released from the album were the songs "Be My Lover" and "Hard To Stay Awake".
