Circamustela an extinct genus of gulonine mustelids, known from the Miocene of Europe [1] . There are three definitively known species, C. dechaseauxi [1] and C. peignei [2] , both known from Spain, and C. hartmanni [3] , known from Germany, as well as a fourth, tentatively assigned species, C. laevidens [4] , also from Germany.
