NOFX is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Bassist/lead vocalist Fat Mike, rhythm guitarist Eric Melvin and drummer Erik Sandin are original founding and longest-serving members of the band, who have appeared on every release by the band, although Sandin departed briefly in 1985, only to rejoin the following year. El Hefe joined the band in 1991 to play lead guitar and trumpet, rounding out the best-known iteration of the lineup.
Cymatics is a subset of modal vibrational phenomena. The term was coined by Swiss physician Hans Jenny (1904–1972). Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste, or liquid. Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency.

Heavy Petting Zoo is the sixth studio album by the American punk rock band NOFX. It was released on January 31, 1996, through Epitaph Records. The record reached a position of No. 63 on the American Billboard 200 Albums chart, the first NOFX album to do so. In Austria, Heavy Petting Zoo peaked at No. 20, while the album achieved the No. 13 position in both Sweden and Finland.

Over the course of his career, Malin has collaborated with Bruce Springsteen, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Ryan Adams and numerous other musicians.
Parry P. Gripp is an American songwriter, singer and musician. He has been the lead vocalist and guitarist for the pop punk band Nerf Herder since its formation in 1994. Gripp writes novelty songs for children, and has been featured on Disney television shows.
Harambe was a western lowland gorilla who lived at the Cincinnati Zoo. On May 28, 2016, a three-year-old boy visiting the zoo climbed under a fence into an outdoor gorilla enclosure where he was violently grabbed and dragged by Harambe. Fearing for the boy's life, a zoo worker shot and killed Harambe. The incident was recorded on video and received broad international coverage and commentary, including controversy over the choice to use lethal force. A number of primatologists and conservationists wrote later that the zoo had no other choice under the circumstances, and that it highlighted the danger of zoo animals near humans and the need for better standards of care.

Gloria Tang Sze-wing, known professionally as G.E.M. or Tang Tsz-kei, is a Chinese-born Hong Kong singer, songwriter, and producer. Born in Shanghai and raised in Hong Kong, G.E.M. made her debut in 2008 with the release of her self-titled Cantonese extended play G.E.M. The release won her the gold award for best newcomer at three major music awards ceremonies in Hong Kong. Her debut studio album, 18... (2009), was named one of the top ten best-selling records in the territory in 2009.
"Cruel to Be Kind" is a song co-written by Nick Lowe and his former bandmate Ian Gomm while the pair were in Brinsley Schwarz. The song only appeared as the 1978 B-side of "Little Hitler" until Columbia Records convinced Lowe to rerecord it as a potential solo single. Musically, the song was inspired by "The Love I Lost" by Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, an influence reflected in more recent performances of the song.

It includes six covers of songs with a Halloween theme. The music video for "Monster Mash", released on the same day, features an appearance by drag performer Alaska Thunderfuck, Sharon Needles' ex-partner. The EP received generally positive reviews from music critics, who appreciated the collection's theme and reinterpretations.

The self-written album was done after G.E.M.'s departure from her former record label Hummingbird Music Limited. It was produced and finished within 8 months.

G.E.M. produced the song with Terrence Ma, and it was released on November 22, 2019, by Sony Music Taiwan as the lead single from the album. "Full Stop" is a pop number with a retro-styled musical motif, with lyrics discussing the drama surrounding the relationship with her previous record label, Hummingbird Music Limited.
