Claudia Verdicchio-Krause (born 24 May 1975 in Freiburg) is a German female sport shooter. [1] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 10 metre air pistol [2] and the Women's 25 metre pistol, finishing 20th in the 10 metre event and 26th in the 50 metre event. [3] [4] [5]
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) was the organisation responsible for overseeing the planning and development of the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games. It was jointly established by the UK Government's Department for Culture, Media and Sport, the Mayor of London and the British Olympic Association and was structured as a private company limited by guarantee. LOCOG worked closely with the publicly funded Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA), which is responsible for the planning and construction of new venues and infrastructure.
Honorary Captain Vijay Kumar Sharma, AVSM, SM is an Indian sport shooter. He won the silver medal in the individual 25 metre rapid fire pistol event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Kumar hails from Barsar village of Hamirpur district of Himachal Pradesh and is a retired Subedar Major in the Dogra Regiment Indian Army, who was later promoted to Honorary Captain Rank. Vijay Kumar is supported by the Olympic Gold Quest initiative. He is the only Indian to have won a medal at 25m rapid Fire Pistol. He has been posted at Indian Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU) Mhow since 2003 where he is being coached by the Russian Pavel Smirnov.
Olena Dmytrivna Kostevych is a Ukrainian pistol shooter. She is the 2004 Olympic champion in the 10 metre air pistol event, 2002 World champion in 10 m air pistol event and 2018 World champion in 25 m pistol event. She is also multiple European Championships champion and medalist as well as Universiade champion.
Nino Salukvadze is a Georgian sport shooter. She is a nine-time Olympian and has won medals on three occasions. At age 19 and competing for the Soviet Union at the 1988 Summer Olympics, she won a gold medal in the women's 25-metre sporting pistol competition and silver in the women's 10-metre air pistol competition. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, competing for Georgia, she added to her tally with a bronze medal, also in the 10-metre air pistol event.
Shooting competitions at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London took place from 28 July to 6 August at the Royal Artillery Barracks in Woolwich. Fifteen events were included with 390 athletes taking part. The events were the same as in 2008.
Heena Sidhu is an Indian sport shooter. On 7 April 2014, Sidhu became the first Indian pistol shooter to reach number one in world rankings by the International Shooting Sport Federation. In 2013, Sidhu became the first Indian pistol shooter to win a gold medal in an ISSF World Cup finals when she won the 10-metre air pistol event. In 2014, Sidhu was the World record holder in the 10-metre air pistol event with a final score of 203.8. Sidhu is right handed and is right eye dominant.
Yelena Taranova is an Azerbaijani paralympic sport shooter. A silver medalist of the 2000 Summer Paralympics and bronze medalist of the 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2010 Volmerange-les-Mines and 2011 Columbus World Cup winner, she represneted Azerbaijan in the 2012 Summer Paralympics.

Lalita Yauhleuskaya is a professional sporting shooter who won a bronze medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney representing Belarus and currently represents Australia in international competition.
Hayley Chapman is an Australian sport shooter who represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in shooting in the 25m pistol event where she placed 34th out of 39.
Vyacheslav Podlesnyy is a Kazakhstani sport shooter who competes in the men's 10 metre air pistol. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he finished 40th in the qualifying round, failing to make the cut for the final. He also competed in the 50 metre pistol event, finishing 34th and also not qualifying for the final.
Kim Jang-mi is a South Korean female sport shooter. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 10 metre air pistol and the Women's 25 metre pistol. On August 1, 2012, Kim Jang-mi won the women's 25 metre pistol gold medal after defeating China's defending champion Chen Ying.

Heidi Diethelm Gerber is a Swiss female sport shooter. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's 10 metre air pistol and the Women's 25 metre pistol. She finished in 35th in the 10 metre air pistol event and in 29th in the 25 metre event. At the 2016 Summer Olympics she won the bronze medal in the 25 metre pistol and was 35th in the 10 metre air pistol.

Shooting competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo were originally scheduled from 25 July to 3 August 2020, due to the postponement of the Summer Olympics to 2021, the rescheduled dates were on 24 July to 2 August 2021 at the Asaka Shooting Range. Unlike in 2016, the number of shooters competing across fifteen events at these Games had been reduced from 390 to 360, with an equal distribution between men and women. Furthermore, several significant changes were instituted in the Olympic shooting program, including the substitution of three male-only events, with the mixed team competitions.
