Clayton was the name of a town in section 4 of Seely Township, Faribault County, Minnesota, United States.

History

Clayton had a post office from 1860 until 1899. The town failed to develop as hoped, and the population dwindled and the buildings were moved to neighboring Bricelyn, until in 1977 only the cemetery remained. [1]

Wheatland Reservoir

Wheatland Reservoir is the name of three reservoirs located near Wheatland in the U.S. State of Wyoming. Wheatland Reservoir Number 1 is located nearest to the town of Wheatland. It was formed by impounding Canal No 3 which is fed by Sybille Creek coming off the eastern slope of the Laramie Mountains. Wheatland Reservoir Number 2 is located on the western side of the Laramie Mountains. It was formed by impounding the Laramie River. Nearby Wheatland Reservoir Number 3 is fed by a canal from Reservoir Number 2 and the Laramie River.

It is possible to reach Mill Creek from Upper Fish Lake by way of a shallow stream that feeds the lake: this stream passes under a railroad bridge about a half mile east of the town. Mill Creek is not an actual creek, it is south of La Porte.
