Clean Head is Oceana's first EP, and a follow-up to their second release Birth.Eater . The album was written with the intent of being the B-sides to Birth.Eater and covers similar topics. The record focuses primarily around the idea of finding beauty in life through whatever way you see fit. This album shows a vast sound change and maturity of the band as a whole and was very well received by fans and critics. Clean Head will be released as a Hot Topic exclusive, and on various online distribution services. This new EP has a total of four songs. The album was released on May 11, 2010. [1] "Birth.Eater" will also be re-released by Distort Entertainment, with the four new EP tracks. [2] This is also the last release to feature guitarist Jack Burns as well as the last under the "Oceana" name.

Clean Head has been incredibly well received by reviewers and fans alike. Rinse, Review, Repeat put the EP in high regards saying "For only being four songs long, the Clean Head EP stands as its own pillar in Oceana’s ever-changing progression as a band, filling the intimate gap needed to complete the array of soundscapes they’ve released in the past." [6]

The Walkmen

The Walkmen is an American indie rock band, with members based in New York City and Philadelphia. The band formed in 2000 with three members from Jonathan Fire*Eater—Paul Maroon, Walter Martin (organ/bass), and Matt Barrick (drums)—and two from The Recoys, Peter Bauer (bass/organ) and Hamilton Leithauser. Bauer attended Maret School in Washington, D.C., while the other band members attended St. Albans, also in Washington.

Kayo Dot American band

Kayo Dot is an American avant-garde metal group. Formed in 2003 by Toby Driver after the break-up of maudlin of the Well, they released their debut album Choirs of the Eye on John Zorn's Tzadik Records that same year. Since then, Kayo Dot's lineup has drastically changed over the years. Toby Driver is the only founding member of the band still remaining, save for frequent lyrical contributions from former motW member Jason Byron. Up until 2011, the lineup was constantly shifting, and Kayo Dot's sound consistently changed over the years, featuring a wide variety of instrumentation including guitar, drums, bass, violin, saxophone, vibraphone, synthesizers, clarinets and flutes. Underground metal audiences warmly received the group upon its early existence, with the 2003 album Choirs of the Eye and the 2006 album Dowsing Anemone with Copper Tongue both becoming underground hits in the progressive metal scene.

To Plant a Seed is the debut studio album by We Came as Romans. It was released by Equal Vision Records on November 3, 2009 and was produced by Joey Sturgis. Artwork for the album was done by Paul Romano to which coincides to We Came as Romans' positive message as explained by guitarist Joshua Moore that the lyrical themes on To Plant a Seed are based-up spreading this message. Death Is Birth is an EP released by the British hardcore punk band Gallows, released 5 December 2011 through Thirty Days of Night Records.
