Clear Convictions is a Christian metal band from Ponce, Puerto Rico, formerly known as Inmortales. The band formed in 1999, released their debut album, Warning, in 2004, their second album, Mystery of Inquiry, in 2008, their debut EP, A Past That Attempts To Define Me, in 2013, and their second EP, New Seasons, in 2015. The band has played with Inked in Blood, xLooking Forwardx, No Innocent Victim, Figure Four, and Seventh Star. [5] [6] The band announced that they had disbanded on December 31, 2016. [1]

The band stated in an interview: "'Clear Convictions' comes around because that's how we see our lifestyle. As Christians, we believe by faith and that faith becomes true and alive , something that you can feel inside,it is like having an ear and true relationship with the Creator. Then that faith madeus move in obedience to God, for example that made us to: Love the people around as ourselves, love our enemy, protect the weak etc.To obey God's will. Then we are CLEAR that our CONVICTIONS are that we have a God that lives and has the power and is the only one that can change death to life because we feel and see Him in our lives. In other words: Clear Convictions = Believe in God in a time of God Free. Oh and, it sounds cool, the other name that we had wasn’t." [7]

The band now consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Elisha Mullins, lead guitarist, Todd Hatfield, drummer, Kaleb Luebchow, and bass guitarist, Alex Poole. The band released one EP, Age of Deceit, in 2009 with Sancrosanct Records. They signed with Strike First Records, where they released, The Winepress, a studio album, in 2010. Venia was an American Christian hardcore band from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The band started making music in 2006 and disbanded in 2012. The band released two studio albums, Convictions in 2008, and Frozen Hands, in 2009, with Blood and Ink Records. Their subsequent release was an extended play, I've Lost All Faith in Myself.

Serianna was a metalcore band from Madison, Wisconsin. The band formed in 2006, but disbanded in 2013 after 2 studio albums and additional tours after removing 2 members after the first studio album. Chris Nutting started a new project called Steady/Steady which, instead of Metalcore/Post-hardcore, this new band plays Indie Rock. Guitarist Kris Meyer-Ruef later started playing in a new band called Deadset.

Besieged is a Christian metal band from Saginaw and Bay City, Michigan. The band was formed by drummer Josh Schroeder, the only member in every line-up, who later became a producer and has recorded albums for Those Who Fear, A Plea for Purging, and The Burial. Former vocalist Mattie Montgomery left to join the band For Today in 2007. The band was supposed to do a Super Mario Bros. 3 cover for the game, but it is uncertain if that happened or not. The band played on the Blood and Ink Fest, along with, xLooking Forwardx, Burden of a Day, and Saints Never Surrender.
