Facedown Records is a Christian rock record label based in Fallbrook, California, that is devoted to hardcore punk and metalcore bands with a few death metal acts such as Immortal Souls and Indwelling. Founded by No Innocent Victim drummer Jason Dunn in 1997, the label started small with a number of 7" record releases by Overcome, Dodgin Bullets, and Born Blind. As the label grew, it was able to sign artists for full album deals. xDISCIPLEx released material on Facedown, as well as Figure Four and Point of Recognition. The label also signs straight edge groups such as xDEATHSTARx and xLooking Forwardx.
xDEATHSTARx was an American Christian metal band from Redlands, California. All of the members are straight edge and they incorporate both Christian and straight edge themes within their music, with their view of the loss of values in modern society.
Those Who Fear, also known as TWF, was an American Christian metal band hailing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who were established in 2005. The groups' current label imprint is Facedown Records. In 2013, the band came out with a studio album called Unholy Anger. Their second studio album was issued in 2014, titled Death Sentence. Your Memorial was an American metalcore band from Hennepin County, Minnesota. The group is currently under contract with Facedown Records. Its debut studio album, Seasons, was released in 2008. Leaders were an American Christian metal band from Hollister, California. The band started making music in 2011, with members, lead vocalist, Lazarus Rios, lead guitarist, Alfredo Tovar, bass guitarist, JC Villareal, and drummer, Elijah Martinez. They signed with Facedown Records, where they released, Now We Are Free, a studio album, in 2012. Their second album, Indomitable, released by Facedown Records in 2013. Leaders disbanded on June 27, 2015.
Hands was an American Christian metal band from Fargo, North Dakota, United States. The band started making music in 2007, with lead vocalist and guitarist Shane Ochsner, lead guitarist Ian Johnson, bass guitarist Chris Schwartz, and drummer Josh Silbernagel. Jerik Hendrickson became the band's lead guitarist in 2010, but he has since left the band, with Shane Ochsner taking over lead guitar duties. The band released one extended play, The Everlasting, independently in 2007. Their first studio album, The Sounds of Earth, was released by Oort Records in 2009. The band signed with Facedown Records, where they released Creator, a studio album, in 2009. The third studio album, Give Me Rest, was released in 2011, also on Facedown Records. The band reunited in 2017 for Facedown Fest 2017.
Dynasty is an American Christian hardcore punk band from Los Angeles, California. The band started making music in 2004, and their members are lead vocalist, Joel Muniz, guitarists, Ivan Hernandez and Marcel Muniz, bassist, Ruben Nunez, and drummer, Nick Sturz. The band released a studio album, Truer Living with a Youthful Vengeance, in 2011 with Strike First Records. Their second studio album, Beyond Measure, was released in 2013 by Facedown Records. The band is performing at Facedown Fest 2017.
Onward to Olympas was an American metalcore band from Salisbury, North Carolina. The band started making music in 2005, and disbanded in 2013. Their membership was vocalists, Chris Davis and Kramer Lowe, guitarists and vocalist, Andy Simmons, Justin Gage, and Kyle Phillips, drummer and vocalist, Mark Hudson, guitarist, Andrew Higginbotham, bass guitarist, Justin Allman, and drummers, Matt Burnside, Nick Helvey. The band released one independently made album, The End of the Beginning, in 2007, and their lone extended play, Victory at All Costs, in 2008. Their first studio album, This World Is Not My Home, was released by Facedown Records, in 2010. The subsequent studio album, The War within Us, was released by Facedown Records, in 2011. They released, Indicator, with Facedown Records, in 2012, and this was their third and final studio album.
This World Is Not My Home is the first studio album from Onward to Olympas. Facedown Records released the album on January 19, 2010. Onward to Olympas worked with Jamie King, in the production of this album.
Call to Preserve was an American Christian and straight edge crossover thrash band who played a fusion hardcore punk and metalcore. They come from Rockledge, Florida. The band started making music in 2003, and disbanded in 2011. Their membership was vocalist, John Ellis, guitarists, Duke Ahrens, Matt Aviles, and Harbor Partin, bass guitarist, Kyle Bowen, and drummer, Mike Aviles. The band released one independently made extended play, Call to Preserve, in 2003. Their first studio album, Unsinkable, was released by Strike First Records, in 2006. The subsequent studio album, From Isolation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2008. They released, Life of Defiance, with Facedown Records, in 2010, and this was final studio album. Their last release, an extended play, Validation, was released by Facedown Records, in 2011, marking this as their final musical recording.
Aletheia is the second studio album from Hope for the Dying. Facedown Records released the album on March 19, 2013. Hope for the Dying worked with Joshua Barber, in the production of this album.
Milestone is the second studio album by American metalcore band Gideon. Facedown Records released the album on July 3, 2012. Gideon worked with Brian Hood in the production of this album.
Inked in Blood was an American Christian metalcore and melodic hardcore group. They come from Portland, Oregon. The band started making music in 2001 and disbanded in 2007. Their first show was December 2001 in Portland with Knives Out. The band released two demos, one extended play, Awakening Vesuvius, in 2004. Their first studio album, Lay Waste the Poets, was released by Facedown Records, in 2005. The subsequent studio album, Sometimes We Are Beautiful, was released by Facedown Records, in 2007, as their final recording.
Take It Back! was an American hardcore band from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The band started making music in 2005, and disbanded in 2009. Their membership was vocalist, Nick Thomas, guitarists, Daniel Hawkins and Cody Bradley, and drummer, Josh Huskey. The band released an extended play, Rumors of Revolt, in 2009, with Facedown Records. Their first studio album, Can't Fight Robots, was released by Facedown Records, in 2008. Dave Quiggle is an American guitarist in the hardcore punk genre. He played for various projects such as xDISCIPLEx A.D., No Innocent Victim, Shockwave, and Jesus Wept. He currently works for Facedown Records as a graphic designer.
