Bishop Clint Steven Brown (born April 29, 1963) is an American gospel musician.

Early life

Brown was born in Iota, Louisiana [1] on April 29, [2] 1963, [3] as Clint Steven Brown. [4] Brown grew up in the United Pentecostal Church (UPCI) and from a very young age began to play the piano for Sunday services. After services in his home church would conclude, Brown would sneak across town to the local Church Of God In Christ congregation. “I’d be the only white boy in the building.” Brown has said on many occasions. His experience with the Black Church would play a vital role in his music. He learned how to play the trumpet while in his middle and high school band. [1] His father tried unsuccessfully to get him to work as a mechanic, instead he opted for a career in music. [1] Not long after his decision to pursue music ministry, Brown was hired by several different ministries as a music director, until 1985 when he was hired to travel full time with Televangelist Mike Murdock. However, Brown was never personally given an opportunity to sing on stage in any of Murdock’s meetings.

Music career

His music recording career commenced in 1998 with the album, Live from Orlando, released by Tribe Records. [5] He has released over twenty albums, primarily with Tribe Records, yet releasing one album each with Habakkuk Music, Judah Music, and Daywind Music. The first album to chart, One Nation Under Praise, was released on September 11, 2002, [5] and this placed at a peak of No. 4 on the Billboard magazine Christian Albums chart. [6] His second album to chart, Faith Like Rain, was released on February 26, 2008, by Tribe Records, [5] which this was his most charted release, and it placed on four Billboard magazine charts; on the Billboard 200 at No. 197, Christian Albums at No. 18, Gospel Albums at No. 7, and Independent Albums at No. 25. [6] The third album to chart, Release, was released on April 3, 2012, by Habakkuk Music, [5] and this placed at a peak of No. 30 on the Gospel Albums chart. [6]

Personal life

Brown is married to Kendal, and they reside in Windermere, Florida, with their children. [7]

Natalie Wilson, is an American gospel musician and artist. She started her music career, in 2000, with the release of Girl Director by Interscope Records. Reverend Fair Cloth Barnes was an American gospel musician, and the founding pastor of Red Budd Holy Church, Rocky Mount, North Carolina. His recorded music career began in 1983, with the album Rough Side of the Mountain, released by Atlanta International Records ; all his fifteen albums were on that label. That album reached no. 1 in the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart, and six others entered the top twenty.

Bishop Jeff Willie Banks, was an American gospel musician and founding pastor of Revival Temple Holiness that was affiliated with The Church of God in Christ. He started his music career, in 1953, with the Famous Banks Brothers, after they were under the tutelage of Mary Johnson Davis from 1947 until 1953. He released his first album, Lord Lift Me Up, that was released by Savoy Records in 1984, which all of his album were released by the label. He would release seven albums, and four of those charted on the Billboard magazine Gospel Albums chart, Lord Lift Me Up in 1984, 1987's Caught up in the Rapture, 1989's The Storm Is Over, He's All over Me in 1993.

Pastor Alvin A. Darling is an American gospel musician. He started his music career, in 1990, with the release of two albums by Savoy Records, I've Learned to Put My Trust in God and Expect a Miracle. His next album was released by I Am Records in 1992, Medley of Praise, and an album was released with GGI Records in 1994, Hold On...To The Promise. His next two albums, 1995's There's an Answer in Prayer and 1998's Blessing Coming Through for You, was released by Savoy Records.
