Clinton LumberKings American Minor League baseball team

The Clinton LumberKings are a collegiate summer baseball team of the Prospect League. They are located in Clinton, Iowa, and play their home games at NelsonCorp Field. From 1956 to 2020, they were members of Minor League Baseball's Midwest League. With Major League Baseball's reorganization of the minor leagues after the 2020 season, Clinton was not selected to continue in affiliated baseball.

DeWitt Clinton High School is a public high school located since 1929 in the Bronx, New York, United States. Opened in 1897 in Lower Manhattan as an all-boys school, it maintained that status for nearly 100 years. In 1983 it became co-ed. From its original building on West 13th Street in Manhattan, it moved in 1906 to its second home, located at 59th Street and Tenth Avenue. In 1929 the school moved to its present home on Mosholu Parkway in the Bronx.

Mitchell Dean Canham is an American baseball coach and former catcher. He is currently the head baseball coach at Oregon State University and previously served as the manager of the Clinton LumberKings, Modesto Nuts and the Arkansas Travelers.

Ernest Claude Wills was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Tempe Normal School, now Arizona State University, in 1922 and at Chadron State College in 1924, compiling a career college football record of 8–4–1. Wills was also the head basketball coach at Tempe Normal in 1922–23, tallying a mark of 8–4, and the head baseball coach at the school in 1923, guiding his baseball squad to a 5–5 record. Wills graduated the University of Iowa in 1916 with a degree in engineering. He played on the Iowa Hawkeyes football team from 1913 through 1915.

The Clinton Sampson Blues was the final moniker of the minor league baseball teams based in Clinton, North Carolina and within Sampson County, North Carolina from 1946 to 1950. The Clinton teams played exclusively as members of the Class D level Tobacco State League. The franchise played as the Clinton Blues from 1946 to 1948.
