A politically polarizing figure, his entire body of work was banned in North Vietnam during the Vietnam War and subsequently in unified Vietnam for more than 30 years until the government began to ease restrictions on some of his work upon his repatriation in 2005.
Trần Thị Minh Tuyết better known as Minh Tuyết, is a Vietnamese-American pop singer, currently performing on Thúy Nga's Paris by Night. Her sisters are Cẩm Ly and Hà Phương who perform with her as part of the cast of Paris by Night. She is known in the Vietnamese American culture as the Vietnamese Pop Princess. Her real name is Trần Thị Minh Tuyết, which in English literally means "Morning Snow."

Ngũ Cung is a Vietnamese progressive rock band formed in 2007. They were well known for their winning in the talent contest Rock Your Passion in 2007. After Rock Your Passion contest, Ngũ Cung also has become a phenomenon in Vietnam for their exceptional music which is a fusion of rock and traditional rhythm from the Northwest of Vietnam. In 2008, their song 'Cướp Vợ' won the Impressive Composition Prize at Bai Hat Viet Competition.

Nguyễn Khoa Tóc Tiên, known simply as Tóc Tiên, is a Vietnamese singer. Beginning her career as a child, Tiên later became a teen idol, participating in several singing competitions and releasing two studio albums: Nụ cười nắng mai (2007) and Tóc Tiên thiếu nữ (2008). Her third solo album, My Turn (2009), projects a new, sexually-charged image which she adopted while living in the United States and performing frequently on Thúy Nga Productions' variety show, Paris by Night. Tiên appeared in the first season of the television series, The Remix, in 2015. The show gave her an opportunity to perform "Ngày mai ", the song which brought her success and later became one of her signature hits. Subsequent singles, notably "Em không là duy nhất" and "#Catena ", were moderately successful.

Bức Tường are a Vietnamese glam metal band, formed in 1995 from Vietnam's National University of Civil Engineering in Hanoi. The band is one of the first professional rock bands in Vietnam, and is considered to be the leader of Hanoi's rock scene.

Thanh Lan is a popular Vietnamese American singer and actress. She was unable to leave Vietnam at the Fall of Saigon in 1975. In 1994 during a sponsored series of concerts in the United States, Vietnamese protesters accused her of colluding with the Hanoi government and being a communist sympathizer. Although she had been a beloved singer during the 1970s, in the US she became the subject of forceful protests and even death threats. She canceled all but one of her concerts, gave interviews pleading her case, and finally prevailed in her quest for asylum.
Nguyễn Thanh Tùng, known professionally as Sơn Tùng M-TP, is a Vietnamese singer-songwriter and actor. Born and raised in Thái Bình, Thái Bình province, his family discovered his singing ability when he was two years old. His self-written 2012 and 2013 singles, "Cơn mưa ngang qua" and "Em của ngày hôm qua" launched his career. These were followed by successful singles "Chắc ai đó sẽ về", "Lạc trôi" and "Nơi này có anh". In 2017, Tùng released the compilation album M-tp M-TP and published his autobiography, Chạm tới giấc mơ.
Vũ Lệ Quyên, known by her stage name Lệ Quyên, is a Vietnamese singer. In 2004, she began her professional singing career with her debut album named Giấc mơ có thật. She is known for her series of musical activities, composed of ballad music, old music, pre-war music since the very beginning of her career in the 2000s.
SGO48 was a Vietnamese idol girl group based in Saigon, officially known as Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. They were the seventh international sister group of AKB48, after Indonesia's JKT48, China's SNH48 (former), Thailand's BNK48, Philippines's MNL48, China's AKB48 Team SH, and Taiwan's AKB48 Team TP, debuted on December 22, 2018, at Crescent Mall, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City. Originally consisted of 29 founding members, known as the first generation, the group was consisted of 20 members as of April 2021, thus becoming the Vietnamese girl group with the most members. The group officially disbanded on December 22, 2021, after their last activity.
