Cross Canadian Ragweed are an American country and rock band formed in Yukon, Oklahoma in 1994. The band consists of Cody Canada, Grady Cross (guitar), Randy Ragsdale (drums), and Jeremy Plato. The group released five studio albums and three live albums from 1994 until 2010. The band was at the forefront of the rise of the red dirt music scene in Oklahoma and the Texas Music scene. After almost 15 years together, the group disbanded in 2010. In September 2024, the band announced their reunion after teasing it for weeks on their social media.
Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by former lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson with bassist Mike Rodden and guitarist Mark King joining in 2003, solidifying the line-up. The band released four studio albums with Winkler; Extreme Behavior (2005), Take It to the Limit (2008), All American Nightmare (2010) and Welcome to the Freakshow (2012). Cody Hanson, along with former lead singer Austin Winkler, wrote the majority of the band's music on their first four albums. After Winkler left the band in 2013, they looked for a new lead vocalist, and added Marshal Dutton. They have since released When the Smoke Clears (2015) and The Reign (2017) with their new vocalist. Their seventh studio album is currently in the works. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
Cross Canadian Ragweed is the debut studio album for the country rock band Cross Canadian Ragweed. It includes the singles "17" and "Constantly." The Alternate name for the album is "The Purple Album". The color was chosen in honor of Mandy Ragsdale, the younger sister of the band's drummer, Randy Ragsdale. Mandy died in a car accident near College Station, Texas and the album was dedicated to her. It was also the band's first album on the Universal South record label.

Garage is the third studio album by American country rock group Cross Canadian Ragweed. A limited release special edition included a bonus DVD containing six videos, one chronicling the band's 10th anniversary. The album includes the singles "Fightin' For" and "This Time Around", both of which charted on Hot Country Songs. The album also produced the song "Dimebag", a tribute to former Damageplan guitarist Darrell Abbott, who had been killed during a performance earlier in the year. The single, along with "Fighting For" both saw air time on classic rock stations in both Texas and Oklahoma. Lead singer Cody Canada agreed, saying that Garage was "our grungiest album so far......we named it Garage because we wanted to make a record that sounded like a garage rock band."

Brett Beavers, Bentley’s producer, helped Bentley co-write all of the songs on the album. The album peaked at number 5 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and at number 1 on the Top Country Albums chart. It was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The Tractors were an American country rock band composed of a loosely associated group of musicians headed by guitarist Steve Ripley. The original lineup consisted of Steve Ripley, Ron Getman, Walt Richmond, Casey van Beek, and Jamie Oldaker (drums). Under the band's original lineup, they signed to Arista Nashville in 1994, releasing their self-titled debut album that year; the album only produced one Top 40 hit on the Billboard country charts.

The band spent 25 days in the studio; the first 5 cutting 15 tracks, the next 20 polishing each. It was recorded in San Diego, California. Lee Ann Womack laid down background vocals on 4 of the tracks to include the Chris Knight cover "Cry Lonely."

The album produced three singles with the title track, "Sideways", and "I Wanna Make You Close Your Eyes". The first two reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, while the third peaked at number 2. The album reached number one the U.S. Billboard Top Country Albums chart. It was also certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America and has even sold over 327,000 copies as of 2010.

McClure is a founding member of The Great Divide, and was a member until he and the band parted ways in 2002. The Mike McClure Band consists of McClure, and Caleb Shirtum (bass).

Parker Yancey McCollum is an American country singer-songwriter based in Texas. The owner of PYM Music, he released his first single and EP in 2013; his debut album, The Limestone Kid, was released on February 24, 2015. The Austin Chronicle gave the release 3.5/5 stars, writing that "it's too early to declare The Limestone Kid debut of the year, but it's already one to beat", and comparing McCollum's music to Charlie Robison's. McCollum and his backing band announced a 2015 tour of Texas in support of the album, performing at events such as RedGorilla Music Fest. McCollum released the EP Probably Wrong: Session One on July 7, 2017, and followed it with Probably Wrong: Session Two on September 8, 2017. The full Probably Wrong album was released on November 10, 2017. His major-label debut album, Gold Chain Cowboy, was released July 30, 2021.

The album's title track was released to country radio as the third single on November 14, 2016. "What the Hell Did I Say" was sent to country radio as the albums fourth and final single June 26, 2017.
