Cody Horlacher (born April 10,1987) is an American lawyer and Republican politician from Waukesha County,Wisconsin. He is a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Waukesha County and previously served four terms as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly,representing the 33rd Assembly district from 2015 through 2022.
From East Troy,Wisconsin,Horlacher graduated from East Troy High School. He then received his bachelor's degree from University of Wisconsin–Whitewater and his J.D. degree from Marquette University Law School. Horlacher then served as a special prosecutor for Walworth County,Wisconsin. He is a member of the Republican Party. [1] On November 4,2014,Horlacher was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly. [2] He was re-elected in 2016,2018,and 2020. [3]
In April 2022,Horlacher announced he would not run for a fifth term in the Assembly,and would instead begin preparing to run for a Wisconsin circuit court seat up for election in the 2023 Spring election. [4] Horlacher prevailed in his judicial election on April 4,2023,defeating incumbent judge Fred Strampe. [5]
He now resides in Mukwonago,Wisconsin,with his wife Karlee and their three children.

Jonathan David Richards is an American attorney, judge, and Democratic politician. He currently serves as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Milwaukee County, since his appointment on September 22, 2020, by Governor Tony Evers. He previously represented Milwaukee for 16 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a candidate for Attorney General of Wisconsin in 2014.

The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first and only election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census, where the courts had put in place maps set out in the Johnson decision. Before the election, 61 Assembly seats were held by Republicans and 38 seats were held by Democrats. The primary election was held on August 9, 2022.

Jennifer R. Dorow is an American attorney from Wisconsin. She is a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Waukesha County, serving since 2011. She previously served as chief judge of the 3rd district of Wisconsin circuit courts (2017–2023). In 2022, she presided over the trial of Darrell Brooks Jr., the perpetrator of the Waukesha Christmas parade attack, which received national news coverage. Following that trial, Dorow ran for a vacant seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, but was eliminated in the primary.
