The company was founded in 1999, in Patras by a doctor. [3] [4] [2] [5] [6] The business is a franchise [7] specialising in coffee, in-house food and coffee making equipment. [8]
In 2009, Coffee Island expanded and introduced its first coffee shop in Cyprus. [9]
