Cokelat (English: Chocolate) are an Indonesian rock band, formed in Bandung, West Java, in 1996. They have released seven albums.
The band was formed at the Sekolah Tinggi Seni Rupa & Desain Indonesia in Bandung in 1996. [1] The band's name, Cokelat, order meant to they are liked by many people like chocolate.[ clarification needed ] [1] Their music originally was influenced by Frente, Alanis Morissette and The Cranberries. [1]
In February 2000, they released the album Untuk Bintang with "Pergi" as the main track. [1]
In 2001, the band released Rasa Baru with "Karma" as the first track. [1]
In 2002, they released a repackaged version of Rasa Baru; the singles were "Bendera" and "Luka Lama". [1]
In 2003, the band released the album Segitiga on an airplane in flight. [1]
In 2004, they released the album Dari Hati with "Saat Jarak Memisahkan" as the main track. [1]
In 2009, they released the single "Lima Menit untuk Lima Tahun" in order to socialize the 2009 Indonesian legislative election. [2]
In March 2010, Kikan resigned, and in June 2010 the drummer Ervin resigned or was fired. [3] Sarah replaced Kikan as the vocalist and the drummer position is filled by additional player. [3]
In 2020, Cokelat announced Aiu Ratna (ex garasi band) is filling the lead singer duty.
Sheila on 7 is an alternative rock band from Yogyakarta, Indonesia. They have changed their lineup several times since their formation on 6 May 1996. Their first lineup consisted of Akhdiyat Duta Modjo, Saktia "Sakti" Ari Seno (guitar), Eross Candra (guitar), Adam Muhammad Subarkah (bass), and Anton Widiastanto (drums). Anton left the group in 2004, while Sakti left in 2006, leaving their current lineup as it is, but with Brian Kresna Putro replacing Anton in the drums until his departure in 2022.
Noah is an Indonesian rock band formed as Peterpan in Bandung, West Java in 2000, which consisted of six members: Ariel, Andika, Indra, Lukman, Reza and Uki, with Andika as the leader. Most of their lyrics are written by Ariel, who is the band's lead vocalist. The band currently consists of three members: Ariel, Lukman, and David; and is currently on hiatus since New Year 2024.

Burgerkill is an Indonesian heavy metal band, originally from Bandung, capital city of West Java. The band is named after the fast food restaurant Burger King as a prank. The band was founded in May 1995 by Aris Tanto a.k.a. Eben, sometimes called 'Ebenz', a young man from Jakarta, who came to Bandung to continue his study. In Bandung, Ebenz met Ivan Scumbag, Kimung and Dadan. This four personnel became the first line-up of Burgerkill. In 2013, the band won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards for Metal as F*ck category.

Isyana Sarasvati is an Indonesian singer-songwriter and the founder of REDROSE RECORDS. She is a graduate of Singapore's Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and London's Royal College of Music.
