Collection is the first compilation album by American country music artist Wynonna Judd. The standard version of the album reprised 11 tracks from her first three studio albums: her 1992 self-titled debut, 1993's Tell Me Why , and 1996's Revelations . The standard edition of the album contained no new tracks, but a number of the songs were presented in remixed versions.

Contents

The Australian edition of the album was a more comprehensive collection and included an additional six tracks. This edition added the international singles "Making My Way (Any Way That I Can," "Father Sun," and Wynonna's duet with Michael English "Healing." It also included her cover of the Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Free Bird."

Gary Burr is an American musician, songwriter, and record producer, primarily in the country music genre. Many of the songs he has written have become Top-10 hits, the first of which was "Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" released by Juice Newton in 1982. He became a member of the group Pure Prairie League, taking over after Vince Gill departed the group. Burr later moved to Nashville to focus on his songwriting career, though he has continued performing and is currently a member of the Blue Sky Riders. He has written and co-written songs for many country artists, and a few songs for Pop and Rock artists.

Jill Colucci is an American songwriter and vocalist. She initially rose to prominence in 1988, singing the main scores to the film Mystic Pizza. She sang the ABC promo campaigns Something's Happening and America's Watching ABC. She also performed "The Funny Things You Do", which was the main theme song of America's Funniest Home Videos during the era of Bob Saget. Colucci's prolific credits even extended to Toyota, where she was the original vocalist of the auto maker's "I Love What You Do For Me" campaign in 1989 and she also performed the title theme song of the short-lived NBC-TV series Brand New Life (1989–90). The following year, as she continued to sing for ABC, she sang for The Disney Channel's Celebrate Me Home promotions. She also sang for promotional videos for the Apple II entitled "Apple II Forever" in 1984.

Lisa Angelle is an American country music singer-songwriter. During the 1980s and 1990s, Angelle wrote songs for several country artists including Wynonna Judd, who reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in 1992 with "I Saw the Light", co-written by pop singer Andrew Gold. As a recording artist, Angelle released two singles with EMI America Records in 1985, but did not release an album until 2000 via DreamWorks Nashville. She also recorded the theme song for the CBS TV series Beauty and the Beast, which aired 1987 to 1990.

Her Story: Scenes from a Lifetime is a two-disc live compilation album released in 2005 by American country music artist Wynonna. The album was recorded live at the Grand Ole Opry house on February 1, 2005. It features a mix of Wynonna's solo songs, songs that she originally recorded as one-half of The Judds, and some other cover songs. Also included is a bonus studio track, "Attitude", which was released as a single and peaked at No. 40 on the Hot Country Songs chart in late 2005. A DVD of this same concert was also released.

"No One Else on Earth" is a song written by Jill Colucci, Stewart Harris and Sam Lorber, recorded by American country music artist Wynonna. It was released in August 1992 as the third single from Wynonna's self-titled debut album. It was also that album's third Number One hit on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks charts. It was remixed for release in the UK in 1994, titled "No One Else on Earth '94". It was released on cassette, vinyl, and CD formats. This version was released internationally on Wynonna's first solo compilation album, Collection, in 1997, labeled as "No One Else on Earth ". This version was used for the music video for the song.
