Comic World is an anime convention that is held in South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. It is organized by S.E.Techno.
Because there are few amateur circle conventions in Korea, this convention is considered to be not only the biggest anime convention, but also the Comiket of Korea. Along with ACA festival, it is one of the top anime conventions in Korea. Comic World is held in Seoul and Busan. It used to be held at Daegu, however Daegu Comic World has been on hiatus since its 6th convention.
Comic World was first held in May 1999 and boasts the largest number of circles and visitors compared to any other anime conventions in Korea.
It provides exhibition booths, item lockers, and a dressing room for its attendees. It also allows visitors to participate in various activities such as illustration and cosplay contests, singing competitions, and a chance to speak with one's favorite manhwa artists.
Currently, Seoul Comic World is held once a month and Busan Comic World once every two months.
Unlike ACA festival and CAN festival which started strictly as a place for amateur artists to gather, Comic World was created with financial profit in mind. Because of this, it has frequent, large events and quickly gained mass popularity. Comic World allows circles to reserve a booth at the end of a previous Comic World festival, and the reservations usually fill up in one day, evidencing its popularity.

Comic Market, more commonly known as Comiket or Comike, is a semiannual doujinshi convention in Tokyo, Japan. A grassroots market focused on the sale of doujin (self-published) works, Comiket is a not-for-profit fan convention administered by the volunteer-run Comic Market Preparatory Committee (ComiketPC). Inaugurated on 21 December 1975 with an estimated 700 attendees, Comiket has since grown to become the largest fan convention in the world, with an estimated turnstile attendance of 750,000 in 2019. Comiket is typically held at Tokyo Big Sight in August and December, with the two events distinguished as Summer Comic Market and Winter Comic Market, respectively.
Manhwa is the general Korean term for comics and print-cartoons. Outside Korea, the term usually refers to South Korean comics. Manhwa is directly influenced by Japanese Manga comics. Modern Manhwa has extended its reach to many other countries. These comics have branched outside of Korea by access of Webtoons and have created an impact that has resulted in some movie and television show adaptations.

Asia Song Festival, a.k.a.A-Song-Fe or ASF, is an annual Asian pop music festival held in South Korea, since 2004. It is hosted by Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange (KOFICE) and features artists from Asian countries. Participating artists are awarded a plaque of appreciation by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Best Asian Artist by the chairman of Korea Foundation for International Culture and Exchange (KOFICE). Mari Kim (Korean: 마리킴) is a South Korean contemporary artist from Seoul, South Korea. She is known for the big-eyed, cartoon-like female characters in her pop art paintings, called "eyedolls". Her work was popularly recognized after her 2011 collaboration with the K-pop girl group 2NE1, directing the animated music video for their single "Hate You". The single topped charts and the music video, with eyedoll action heroines portraying each of the four members, received over twenty million YouTube views.
Road to Ultra (RTU) events are one day, single-stage events created and founded by the team behind the electronic dance music festival, Ultra Music Festival. Stage designs are also curated by the Ultra Worldwide team and are adapted to accommodate the needs of indoor and outdoor venues. RTU made its debut in 2012 in Seoul, Korea leading up to the second edition of Ultra Korea, which took place the following year. Since then, Road to Ultra events have landed in Thailand, Colombia, Peru, Macau, Japan, Taiwan, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, the Philippines, Singapore, Chile, and Hong Kong. As of 2017, new Road to Ultra events have taken place in India in September 2017, as well as Australia in February 2018.
