(Parliamentary) Committee on Foreign Affairs [1] (Swedish : utrikesutskottet) (UU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee prepares matters concerning the state's relationship to and agreements with other states and international organizations, assistance to other countries' development, representing the Swedish state abroad, as well as helping with diplomatic situations abroad. The committee also handles matters concerning foreign trade and international economic cooperation. They also handle matters that non of the other seventeen other parliamentary committees handle.
The Committee on Foreign Affairs should not be confused with the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs, which is a forum for the Government to discuss and seek support for its foreign policy with the Riksdag. The Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs is chaired by the Swedish king.
Since 2022, the Speaker of the committee is Aron Emilsson for the Sweden Democrats along with the vice-Speaker of the committee Morgan Johansson for the Social Democratic Party.

The Parliament of Finland is the unicameral and supreme legislature of Finland, founded on 9 May 1906. In accordance with the Constitution of Finland, sovereignty belongs to the people, and that power is vested in the Parliament. The Parliament consists of 200 members, 199 of whom are elected every four years from 13 multi-member districts electing 7 to 36 members using the proportional D'Hondt method. In addition, there is one member from Åland.
The speaker of the Riksdag is the presiding officer of the national unicameral legislature in Sweden.
Urban Christian Ahlin is a Swedish Social Democratic Party politician who was Speaker of the Riksdag from September 2014 to September 2018. He served as a Member of the Riksdag (MP) for the Västra Götaland County East constituency from 1994 to 2018. He was formerly Foreign Policy spokesman for the Social Democrats.
There are fifteen parliamentary committees in the Riksdag, Sweden's parliament. Each committee is made up of seventeen elected MPs, with at least one member from each political party. Additionally, the committee on EU Affairs, while not one of the standing committees, has a similar role.

The committee's areas of responsibility concern housing policy, consumer policy, community planning, and civil law.

The committee areas of responsibility concern general cultural and educational purposes, popular education, youth activities, international cultural cooperation, and sports. The committee also debates church issues and matters concerning radio and television, and immigration and integration policies, insofar as they do not belong to the Constitutional Committee's preparation.
[Parliamentary] Committee on Taxation (SkU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee manages and debates matters concerning state and municipal taxes and matters concerning taxation, tax payment, and, population registration, as well as matters concerning the enforcement system. Taxes also include customs duties and taxes comparable to taxes.
The Committee on the Constitution (KU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee's responsibilities include examining issues relating to the Swedish Constitution and Administrative laws, as well as examining the Prime Minister's performance of duties and the handling of government matters. The committee's activities are regulated by the Riksdag.
(Parliamentary) Committee on Defence (FöU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee's areas of responsibility concern the military, the role of the population in defense policies, along with coordination inside the total defense. The committee also treats questions regarding the coast guard.

The (Parliamentary) Committee on Finance (FiU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee's main areas of responsibility concern economics. They are also responsible for examining how central government revenue is added up and compiling the yearly central government budget.
(Parliamentary) Committee on Health and Welfare (SoU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee's main areas of responsibility concern the wellbeing of children and teenagers, care for the elderly and disabled, measures against addiction, and other social services issues. It also debates on policies regarding alcohol, and health care along with social matters in general.

The committee's areas of responsibility concern Business policies and related research on those terms, along with trade, energy policies, regional development policy, state-owned enterprises and price, and competition conditions.
(Parliamentary) Committee on Justice (JuU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag. The committee's main areas of responsibility concern Judiciary policies on various different authorities, among other things, the courts, Prosecution Authority, the Police Authorities, the Prison and Probation Service, along with matters that concern the criminal code, the Code of Judicial Procedure, and laws that replace or are closely related to regulations that concern these areas.

The committee's areas of responsibility concern active labour market policies, working condition policies, working life policies, labour laws, along with gender equality between men and women on the labour market and the working life. The committee was first implemented into the Riksdag during the parliament year of 1975/1976, it served as a successor to the Committee on Home Affairs.

The committee's areas of responsibility concern health insurance, pensions, policies on families, asylum, human migration, integration policies for newly arrived migrants, along with Swedish citizenship.
Joint Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee (UFöU) is a parliamentary committee in the Swedish Riksdag, made up of members of both the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Defence Committee.
The Committee on European Union Affairs is a governmental body in the Swedish Riksdag, where the Riksdag and the Swedish Government consult matters and issues about the European Union (EU). In the EU Committee, Sweden's negotiating position is determined prior to a meeting between the European Council and the Council of the European Union.
