The Houston Astros' 1994 season was a season in American baseball. It involved the Houston Astros attempting to win the inaugural season of the National League Central division; they finished in second place. First baseman Jeff Bagwell was a unanimous selection for the National League Most Valuable Player Award. Despite nearly the last two months of the being cancelled due to the 1994–95 strike, Bagwell set a then-club record for home runs with 39 and a club record for batting average (.368) and slugging percentage (.750).

The 1981 Houston Astros season was the 20th season for the Major League Baseball (MLB) franchise in Houston, Texas. The season was divided into two halves because of a players' strike in mid-season. The Astros won the Western Division of the National League in the second half with a loss by the Cincinnati Reds on October 3, the penultimate day of the season. The Astros advanced to the playoffs, which matched the winners of the two halves in a Division Series. However, they were defeated in five games by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the Division Series.

The Houston Astros' 2008 season was the 47th season for the Houston Astros. The Astros attempted to return to the postseason, after missing the past two postseasons. This was the last season where the Astros finished the season above the .500 mark prior to the post season run in 2015.

The Audible Doctor has been credited as producer in critically acclaimed studio albums and EPs including Made In The Streets, 2057, The Ports, Reporting Live, Computer Era, Free Agent and Thug Matrix 3. On 3 January 2014, he was listed in AllHipHop 's "Top 50 Underground/Indie/Emerging Artists Of 2013" before he went on to make a guest appearance at the 2014 edition of the annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. He is a member of the Brown Bag AllStars, a group of emcees he joined while interning at Fat Beats in 2007.
