He founded the label with his paternal half-brother rapper Conway the Machine and frequently collaborates with him alongside his cousin and fellow rapper Benny the Butcher. Gunn is recognized as one of the faces of the underground 2010s grimey boom bap resurgence with his juxtaposition of vivid drug-ridden street narratives and luxurious, artisic sample based production.
