The Connacht Intermediate Club Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition played between the Intermediate Championship winner from each county in Connacht. The winners compete for the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship.

The All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football tournament which began in season 1970–71. It is the top-tier competition for the senior football clubs of Ireland and London.

The Galway Senior Football Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition between the top Gaelic football clubs in Galway. Since 2008, the champions qualify to the Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship. Before 2008, the Roscommon champions qualified for the Connacht Senior Club Hurling Championship.
St Brigid's GAA Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the parishes of Kiltoom and Cam in County Roscommon, Ireland. They play in green and red colours and their home pitch is at Newpark, Kiltoom. The club was founded in 1944 and is the home club of former Roscommon inter-county player Gerry O'Malley. The club has won one All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, beating Ballymun Kickhams in the All-Ireland Club Final on St Patrick's Day, 17 March 2013.

The Ulster Intermediate Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition organised by Ulster GAA. It is played between the Intermediate championship winners from each of the nine counties of Ulster. The competition has a straight knock-out format. It was first held in 1998 as an unofficial tournament, and was first organised by Ulster GAA in 2004. The winners are awarded the Patrick McCully Cup, named in honour of Clontibret O'Neills stalwart Packie McCully. The winners go on to represent Ulster in the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship.

Prior to 2008, county champions competed in the senior grade, but since then the senior champions from Mayo and Roscommon compete at intermediate level along with the Galway intermediate champions, who receive a bye to the final. Calry-St Joseph's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in Calry and the northern ward of Sligo, Éire. The club was formerly known as Calry Gaels until it became Calry-St Joseph's in 1987 after a re-organisation of the GAA structures in the Sligo urban area. They have won the last 7 Sligo Senior Hurling Championships and played in 12 of the last 13 finals, winning in 2005 until 2009 and again from 2011 to 2017. In 2009 they won the Connacht Junior Club Hurling Championship beating Galway side Skehana 1-09 to 0-10 in the final having lost to them the year before and they repeated that feat again in 2012 by beating the same opposition from before, Skehana. They followed up that victory with a double double by winning both Provincial and County Championships in 2013. The club's most recent victory in the Connacht Junior Hurling Championship came in 2016. Reduced to 13 men, with two players sent off, they clawed back a deficit of 5 points to tie the match and go on to beat Micheál Breathnach of the Galway Gaeltacht in extra-time, 3-9 to 2-10. They won the Sligo Intermediate Football Championship in 2004 & 2014 and came Runners Up in 1988, 1990 & 2013 and won Sligo Junior Football Championship in 1976 & 1987 and were Runners Up in 1983 & 1984.

The 2021–22 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 51st staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county club hurling tournament. It was the first club championship to be completed in two years as the 2020–21 Championship was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The championship began on 27 November 2021 and ended on 12 February 2022.
