Constantin-Daniel Cadariu (born December 16,1967 [2] ) is a Romanian politician,engineer and local government official,senator,Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism from 2021 onwards.
An engineer by education,he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute in Iași (later transformed into the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University). He worked as an accountant in a private enterprise,in 2005–2008 he was an official in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. [2] He became involved in political activities within the National Liberal Party. He was a councilor in the town of Gura Humorului (2000–2004) and a councilor in the Suceava County (2004–2007). From 2008 to 2012,he was the vice-chairman of the district council. [2] In 2016 he was elected to the Senate. [3] In the 2020 elections,he successfully ran for Senate re-election. [4]
In November 2021,he was appointed Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism in the government that was then formed,headed by Nicolae Ciucă. [5]

A former member of the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L),he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Dolj County from 1990 to 2004,and sat in the Romanian Senate from 2004 to 2012,representing the same county. In the Radu Vasile and Mugur Isărescu cabinets,he was Minister of Industry and Commerce from 1998 to 2000;in the first Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu cabinet,he was Minister of Transport,Construction and Tourism from 2006 to 2007;and in the Emil Boc cabinet,he was Minister of Transport and Infrastructure from December 2008 to September 2010. From October to December 2009,he was also acting Minister of Agriculture following the political crisis that led to the withdrawal of the Social Democratic Party from government.
Daniel Ciugureanu was a Romanian politician from Bessarabia,deputy in Sfatul Țării from Chișinău,Prime Minister of the Moldavian Democratic Republic from 29 January [O.S. 16 January] 1918–21 April [O.S. 8 April] 1918,Minister for Bessarabia in four Romanian Governments,Deputy and Senator,vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies,vice-president and President of the Senate of Kingdom of Romania.
Parliamentary elections were held in Romania on 9 December 2012. The Social Liberal Union (USL) co-led by former Prime Minister Victor Ponta won an absolute majority in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. At the time of the elections,despite the severe weather in several parts of the country,the turnout was approximately 42%,slightly higher than the last parliamentary elections held in 2008 which saw a turnout of 39%.

Ion-Marcel Ciolacu is a Romanian politician who currently serves as the Prime Minister of Romania. He is also the leader of the Social Democratic Party (PSD). As a previously little-known politician outside of Buzău County,where he owns a pastry shop and a consulting firm,Ciolacu came into national prominence when he became the deputy prime minister in 2018 in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mihai Tudose. Allegedly,he was given this office in order to report Tudose's activities to Liviu Dragnea,who had been unable to become prime minister himself and was wary of Tudose becoming a power player in the party. Ciolacu soon broke with Dragnea and became an ally of Tudose against Dragnea's leadership. After Tudose's resignation,Ciolacu was marginalized within PSD but still retained the leadership of PSD Buzău. Ciolacu once again returned to prominence in 2019 after Liviu Dragnea had been convicted on abuse of office and incitement to intellectual forgery charges,having to serve a 3 years,6 months sentence. With the Social Democrats still controlling a majority both in the Chamber and in the Senate,Ciolacu won the position of President of the Chamber of Deputies,with 172 votes for and 120 against,previously held by Dragnea himself.
Viorel Cataramă is a Romanian businessman and politician who founded the furniture manufacturer Elvila in 1990. In 2019,he founded the Liberal Right Party (DL) and ran on its behalf for the 2019 Romanian presidential election where he received a very modest result,thereby by failing to qualify to the second round by a tremendous margin.
Alexandru Nazare is a Romanian politician,Minister of Finance of Romania between December 2020 and July 2021,senator elected in the 2020 parliamentary elections and the special representative of the Romanian Government for Romania's candidacy for hosting the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre,2020. Previously in 2012,he held the position of Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and in December 2008,he became the youngest representative of Romania in the European Parliament.
