Constantin-Daniel Cadariu (born December 16,1967 [2] ) is a Romanian politician,engineer and local government official,senator,Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism from 2021 onwards.
An engineer by education,he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Polytechnic Institute in Iași (later transformed into the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University). He worked as an accountant in a private enterprise,in 2005–2008 he was an official in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. [2] He became involved in political activities within the National Liberal Party. He was a councilor in the town of Gura Humorului (2000–2004) and a councilor in the Suceava County (2004–2007). From 2008 to 2012,he was the vice-chairman of the district council. [2] In 2016 he was elected to the Senate. [3] In the 2020 elections,he successfully ran for Senate re-election. [4]
In November 2021,he was appointed Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism in the government that was then formed,headed by Nicolae Ciucă. [5]
The prime minister of Romania,officially the prime minister of the Government of Romania,is the head of the Government of Romania. Initially,the office was styled President of the Council of Ministers,when the term "Government" included more than the Cabinet,and the Cabinet was called the Council of Ministers. The title was officially changed to Prime Minister by the 1965 Constitution of Romania during the communist regime.

The Senate is the upper house in the bicameral Parliament of Romania. It has 136 seats,to which members are elected by direct popular vote using party-list proportional representation in 43 electoral districts,to serve four-year terms.
Romania elects on a national level a head of state –the president –and a legislature. The president is elected for a five-year term by the people. The Romanian Parliament has two chambers. The Chamber of Deputies has currently 330 members,elected for a four-year term by party-list proportional representation on closed lists. The Senate has currently 136 members,elected for a four-year term by party-list proportional representation on closed lists.
Klaus Werner Iohannis is a Romanian politician,physicist and former teacher who has been serving as the president of Romania since 2014. Ideologically a conservative,he became leader of the National Liberal Party (PNL) in 2014,after serving as leader of the Democratic Forum of Germans in Romania (FDGR/DFDR) between 2002 and 2013. Prior entering politics,Iohannis was a physics teacher.

She assumed her father's duties in March 2016,upon his retirement,and has claimed the headship of the House of Romania since his death on 5 December 2017. Radu Mircea Berceanu is a Romanian engineer and politician. A member of the Democratic Liberal Party (PD-L),he was a member of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies for Dolj County from 1990 to 2004,and sat in the Romanian Senate from 2004 to 2012,representing the same county. In the Radu Vasile and Mugur Isărescu cabinets,he was Minister of Industry and Commerce from 1998 to 2000;in the first Călin Popescu-Tăriceanu cabinet,he was Minister of Transport,Construction and Tourism from 2006 to 2007;and in the Emil Boc cabinet,he was Minister of Transport and Infrastructure from December 2008 to September 2010. From October to December 2009,he was also acting Minister of Agriculture following the political crisis that led to the withdrawal of the Social Democratic Party from government.
Daniel Ciugureanu was a Romanian politician from Bessarabia,deputy in Sfatul Țării from Chișinău,Prime Minister of the Moldavian Democratic Republic from 29 January [O.S. 16 January] 1918–21 April [O.S. 8 April] 1918,Minister for Bessarabia in four Romanian Governments,Deputy and Senator,Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies,Vice-President and President of the Senate of Kingdom of Romania.
Radu-Anton Câmpeanu was a Romanian politician who was also jurist and economist by profession,after graduating from the University of Bucharest in November 1945. During the interwar period and up until 1945,he was the leader of the National Liberal students' association at nationwide level.
Attila-Zoltán Cseke is a Romanian lawyer and politician. A member of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR),he was a member of the Romanian Senate for Bihor County from 2008 to 2012,representing the same county in the Chamber of Deputies from 2012 to 2016 before returning to the Senate. In the Emil Boc cabinet,he was Minister of Health from December 2009 until his resignation in August 2011. Since December 2020,he has been Minister of Development,Public Works and Administration under Florin Cîțu.
Legislative elections were held in Romania on 6 December 2020 to elect the 136 members of the Senate and the 330 constituent members of the Chamber of Deputies.
The Alliance for the Union of Romanians is a right-wing populist and nationalist political party currently active in Romania and Moldova. It was founded on 19 September 2019. This was done with the intention of participating in the 2020 Romanian local and legislative elections. Currently,the party president is George Simion.
Viorel Cataramă is a Romanian businessman and politician who founded the furniture manufacturer Elvila in 1990. In 2019,he founded the Liberal Right Party (DL) and ran on its behalf for the 2019 Romanian presidential election where he received a very modest result,thereby by failing to qualify to the second round by a tremendous margin.
Nicolae Ionel Ciucă is a Romanian politician and retired general of the Romanian Land Forces. He has been serving as Prime Minister of Romania since 25 November 2021 after receiving widespread parliamentary support on behalf of his own party,the National Liberal Party (PNL) as well as the Social Democratic Party (PSD),and the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania (UDMR/RMDSZ). Additionally,since 10 April 2022,he has also been serving as the president of the National Liberal Party (PNL).
Alexandru Nazare is a Romanian politician,Minister of Finance of Romania between December 2020 and July 2021,senator elected in the 2020 parliamentary elections and the special representative of the Romanian Government for Romania's candidacy for hosting the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre,2020. Previously in 2012,he held the position of Minister of Transport and Infrastructure and in December 2008,he became the youngest representative of Romania in the European Parliament.
Presidential elections are going to be held in Romania in either mid- or late November 2024,with an eventual second round to be held in late November or early December 2024 as well. As the Romanian Constitution allows a maximum of two presidential terms,incumbent President of Romania Klaus Iohannis,first elected in 2014 and then re-elected in 2019,is not eligible for re-election anymore.
