Corey Gipson (born January 22, 1981) is an American basketball coach who is the current head coach of the Austin Peay Governors men's basketball team. [1]
Gipson played his first two years at Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri before transferring to Austin Peay where he was part of two Governors Ohio Valley Conference regular season titles, including the 2003 OVC tournament title for a berth in the NCAA tournament. [2] [3]
After graduating, Gipson started his coaching career as an assistant at Virginia State from 2005 to 2009 before joining the staff at UNC Greensboro where he would coach under both Mike Dement and Wes Miller. [4] Gipson would return to his alma mater as an assistant coach from 2012 to 2015, then become an assistant coach at Missouri State in 2016. [5]
On March 21, 2022, Gipson was named the 10th coach in Northwestern State's history, replacing the retiring Mike McConathy. [6] [7] [8]
Gipson returned to Austin Peay on March 12, 2023 to become their head coach, replacing Nate James. [1]

Richard Lee Stansbury, is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach for the Memphis Tigers men's basketball team. He was most recently the head coach for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball team from 2016 to 2023. He was hired as the WKU head coach on March 28, 2016. He is a member of the Campbellsville University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Warren Weston Miller is an American basketball coach and former player, who is the head men's basketball coach at the University of Cincinnati. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he played at the collegiate level for James Madison University and the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 2007. Professionally, Miller played for London Capital of the British Basketball League. He was previously head coach at UNC Greensboro, and served stints as an assistant coach at Elon University and High Point University.
The Murray State Racers are the athletic teams that represent Murray State University (MSU), located in Murray, Kentucky, United States, in intercollegiate sports as a member of the NCAA Division I ranks, primarily competing in the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) since the 2022–23 academic year. The team's most recent appearance in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament to date was in 2016, making the field of 68 by virtue of having won the 2016 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament. Rodney Hamilton is an American former professional basketball player and currently the associate head coach at Austin Peay State University. He played four seasons of college basketball for Georgia State University before playing professionally in Europe for three seasons. His first head coaching gig came following his retirement in 2001 at Westside High School in his hometown of Memphis, Tennessee. He then became an assistant coach at Crichton College, Southeast Missouri State University, and head coach of the Indiana Tech women's basketball team before joining Tennessee State in 2012.

The Governors, led by first-year head coach Nate James, played their home games at the Winfield Dunn Center in Clarksville, Tennessee as members of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). They finished the season 12–17, 8–10 in OVC play to finish in a tie for fifth place. As the No. 6 seed in the OVC tournament, they lost to Tennessee Tech in the first round.

The Demons, led by 23rd-year head coach Mike McConathy, played their home games at Prather Coliseum in Natchitoches, Louisiana as members of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 9–23, 5–9 in Southland play to finish sixth place. They lost in the first round of the Southland tournament to McNeese State.
