Yuliya Andreyevna Yefimova is a Russian competitive swimmer. She is the Russian record holder in the 200 metre individual medley, 50 metre breaststroke, 100 metre breaststroke, and 200 metre breaststroke. After making her Olympic debut in 2008, she went on to win the bronze medal in the 200 metre breaststroke in 2012, and silver medals in the 100 metre and 200 metre breaststroke in 2016. She is a six-time World Champion, winning the 50 metre breaststroke in 2009 and 2013, the 100 metre breaststroke in 2015, and the 200 metre breaststroke in 2013, 2017, and 2019. Alia Shanee Atkinson, СD is a Jamaican five-time Olympian and a former competitive swimmer whose international competition career spanned 19 years, 2003 to 2021 inclusive, at the senior level. At short course World Swimming Championships, she is a ten-time medalist in individual events, including four gold medals, four silver medals, and two bronze medals. She won a total of 124 medals, of which 74 were gold medals, at Swimming World Cup circuits over the course of her career. Anton Mikhailovich Chupkov is a Russian competitive swimmer. He formerly held the world record in the long course 200 metre breaststroke. At the 2015 European Games he won four gold medals in individual and relay events. He won the bronze medal in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won the gold medal in the 200 metre breaststroke at the 2017 and 2019 World Aquatics Championships.
Tilka Paljk is a Zambian swimmer. She competed in the women's 100 metre breaststroke event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. She also competed in three events at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Paljk was born in Postojna, Slovenia. Paljk was named the Zambia Sportswoman of the Year in 2018 and 2019, and was named in Forbes Africa 30 under 30 in 2021.
Ilya Syarheyevich Shymanovich is a Belarusian swimmer. He is the world record holder in the short course 100 metre breaststroke and a former world record holder in the short course 50 metre breaststroke. At the 2018 World Championships he won two silver medals, one each in the 100 metre breaststroke and the 50 metre breaststroke. He won two gold medals, one in the 50 metre breaststroke and one in the 200 metre breaststroke, and a silver medal, in the 100 metre breaststroke, at the 2021 European Short Course Championships. At the 2021 World Short Course Championships he won the gold medal in the 100 metre breaststroke.
Anastasia "Nastiya" Gorbenko is an Israeli competitive swimmer. She competes in the backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and medley. She has won 8 World and European championships gold medals, competed at 2 Olympic finals, broken most of the Israeli national records for women and mixed relays, and is considered to be Israel's greatest swimmer of all time. In February 2024, Gorbenko won a silver medal at the Doha World Championships in the women's 400 meters individual medley. Gorbenko represented Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in swimming in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 200m individual medley, 400m individual medley, 4x200m freestyle relay, and mixed 4x100m medley relay.
Anna Charlott Darcel Elendt is a German swimmer. She competed in the women's 50 metre breaststroke and women's 100 metre breaststroke at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. She holds the National Record in the 100m breaststroke, with a time of 1:06.50, which she achieved at the German Swimming Championships on 4 June 2021 in Berlin.
Jenna Strauch is an Australian swimmer. Jenna first represented Australia at the 2013 FINA World Junior Swimming Championships. She competed in the women's 200 metre breaststroke at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea. Jenna reached the semi-finals and she did not qualify to compete in the final. Jenna then went on to represent Australia in the 2020 Summer Olympics where she made it to the semi-finals in the 200m Breaststroke qualifying 9th fastest in the world.
Benedetta Pilato is an Italian swimmer. She is the world record holder in the long course 50 metre breaststroke. She is the European champion in the 50 metre breaststroke in 2021 and the 100 metre breaststroke in 2022 as well as the silver medalist in the 50 metre breaststroke in 2022. In 2021, she won a silver medal in the 50 metre breaststroke at the 2021 World Short Course Championships. She is the world champion in the 100 metre breaststroke and the silver medal in the 50 metre breaststroke at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships.
Niamh Coyne is an Irish swimmer. She competed in the women's 50 metre breaststroke at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships held in Gwangju, South Korea and she did not advance to compete in the semi-finals.
Heiko Gigler is an Austrian swimmer. He competed in the men's 50 metre butterfly event at the 2018 FINA World Swimming Championships, in Hangzhou, China. Gigler competed for Austria at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, in the Men's 50 metre freestyle event, but did not advance from the preliminary round.
Nika Godun is a Russian competitive swimmer. She is a Russian record holder in the short course 4×50 metre medley relay and the 4×100 metre medley relay. She competed at the 2019 and 2021 European Short Course Championships, medaling in the 4×50 metre medley relay and 50 metre breaststroke. At the 2021 World Short Course Championships she placed fifth in the 50 metre breaststroke and the 4×100 metre medley relay, and sixth in the 100 metre breaststroke and the 4×50 metre medley relay.
Kirill Strelnikov is a Russian competitive swimmer. He won a gold medal in the 4×50 metre medley relay at the 2021 World Short Course Championships and the 4×100 metre medley relay at the 2013 World University Games, swimming the breaststroke leg of both relays in the final. At the 2021 European Short Course Championships he won a bronze medal in the 4×50 metre mixed medley relay, swimming the breaststroke leg of the relay in the preliminaries.
Lara van Niekerk is a South African competitive swimmer. She is the current African, Commonwealth, and South African record holder in the long course 50-metre breaststroke and the African and South African record holder in the short course 50-metre breaststroke. She won gold medals in the 50-metre breaststroke at the 2018 African Swimming Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games as well as a silver medal at the 2022 World Short Course Championships and the bronze medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships in the same event. In the 100-metre breaststroke, she won gold medals at the 2018 African Swimming Championships and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Luka Mladenovic is an Austrian competitive swimmer. At the 2022 World Junior Championships, he won the gold medal and world junior title in the 100-metre breaststroke, the silver medal in the 200-metre breaststroke, and the bronze medal in the 50-metre breaststroke. He is a 2022 European Junior Championships silver medalist in the 200-metre breaststroke.
