Henry Nettleship was an English classical scholar.
John Conington was an English classical scholar. In 1866 he published his best-known work, the translation of the Aeneid of Virgil into the octosyllabic metre of Walter Scott. He was Corpus Professor of Latin at the University of Oxford from 1854 till his death.

John Richard "Jaś" Elsner, is a British art historian and classicist, who in 2013 was Humfry Payne Senior Research Fellow in Classical Archaeology and Art at the University of Oxford, based at Corpus Christi College, and Visiting Professor of Art History at the University of Chicago. He is mainly known for his work on Roman art, including Late Antiquity and Byzantine art, as well as the historiography of art history, and is a prolific writer on these and other topics. Elsner has been described as "one of the most well-known figures in the field of ancient art history, respected for his notable erudition, extensive range of interests and expertise, his continuing productivity, and above all, for the originality of his mind", and by Shadi Bartsch, a colleague at Chicago, as "the predominant contemporary scholar of the relationship between classical art and ancient subjectivity".
Stephen Phelps Oakley, FBA is a British classicist and academic. An expert on the work of Livy, he is the ninth Kennedy Professor of Latin at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Emmanuel College.
William Francis Ross Hardie was a Scottish classicist, philosopher and academic. He was President of Corpus Christi College, Oxford, from 1950 to 1969.
Carol Harrison is a British theologian and ecclesiastical historian, specialising in Augustine of Hippo. Since January 2015, she has been Lady Margaret Professor of Divinity at the University of Oxford; she is the first woman and first lay person to hold this appointment. She is a fellow of Christ Church, Oxford and an honorary fellow of Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. On 27 April 2015, she was installed as a Canon of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. She was previously Professor of the History and Theology of the Latin West at Durham University.
Philip Russell Hardie, FBA is a specialist in Latin literature at the University of Cambridge. He has written especially on Virgil, Ovid, and Lucretius, and on the influence of these writers on the literature, art, and ideology of later centuries.
Tobias Reinhardt is a German classical scholar, specialising in Latin literature and ancient philosophy. Since 2008, he has been the Corpus Christi Professor of Latin at the University of Oxford and a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
Elizabeth McGrath, is a British art historian, curator, and academic. Spending all of her career at the Warburg Institute of the University of London, she was curator of the photographic collection from 1991 to 2010 and Professor of the History of Art from 2000 to 2010. She additionally held the Slade Professorship of Fine Art at the University of Oxford from 1989 to 1990. Since her retirement in 2010, she has been Emeritus Professor and an honorary fellow of the Warburg Institute.
The Barnett Professorship of Social Policy is the chair in social policy at the University of Oxford. It was established in 1999 and is named for Canon Samuel Barnett. The chair is based in the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and its holder is elected to a Fellowship of St Cross College, Oxford.

Andreas Jonathan Willi is a Swiss linguist, philologist, and classicist. He is currently the Diebold Professor of Comparative Philology at the University of Oxford and a professorial fellow of Worcester College, Oxford. He is one of the editors of Glotta. In 2020, he was elected a Fellow of the British Academy. In 2019, Willi was awarded the Humboldt Prize.
