Craig Waddell (born 18 January 1995) is a Scottish curler, a 2019 European bronze medallist. [1] He is from Stirling. [2]

Personal life

Waddell is the grandson of 1979 European champion Jimmy Waddell. [4] His older brother Kyle is also a curler. They played together at the 2019 European championships. [5]

He also won silver at the 2007 Winter Universiade and bronze at the 2005 World Junior Curling Championships in his junior career. In 2018, he skipped his team to victory at the 2018 National Grand Slam of Curling event. He is a two-time champion at the Scottish Men's Curling Championship, winning the title in both 2016 and 2022.

Mili Smith is a retired Scottish curler from Perth. She was the alternate on the British team that won the gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

He was also the alternate on Team Ross Paterson at the 2022 World Men's Curling Championship.
