Crime O'Clock is a 2023 hidden object video game developed by Bad Seed and published by Just For Games. Players control a time traveler who searches hand-drawn scenes for clues to stop crimes that have not yet been committed.
Players attempt to maintain the timeline by stopping crimes that should not happen. This is done by finding hidden objects in hand-drawn, black and white levels. Each level exists in multiple versions, called "ticks", which represents a different point in time. The scene in the ticks are somewhat different from each other, such as a crowd moving further along a street. Using clues, players complete a minigame to discover who the criminal is on each level. An AI assistant helps players manage moving between levels and ticks. Players can request in-game hints, zoom in to see artwork in more detail, and highlight characters to track their movements across ticks. [2]

On Metacritic, Crime O'Clock received positive reviews for macOS and Windows [5] and mixed reviews on the Switch. [6] Siliconera said it is "a novel take" and "generally a lot of fun", but they felt it can become repetitive when played for longer sessions. They also found the minigames "unnecessary". [2] Shacknews called it "an enjoyable throwback" that has been updated to modern standards, which they said alleviates the frustration of hidden object games. [7] Although Nintendo Life enjoyed the art, they found the gameplay repetitive and did not like the minigames. They recommended it to fans of hidden object fans but said others would probably not like it. [8] TouchArcade enjoyed the art and premise, but they also found it mostly appeal to fans of hidden object games. [9]
20XX is an indie action platform video game developed by American indie studio Batterystaple Games. Pac-Man Party is a party game by Namco Bandai Games for the Wii and Nintendo 3DS. It is similar to the Mario Party series and Monopoly games for the Wii. In the game's story mode, players must retrieve a stolen cookie recipe from Pac-Man's enemies Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde and return it to its rightful owner, Mr. Cookie. The game was released to coincide with Pac-Man's 30th anniversary. The game notably features redesigns of the main characters which would carry over to following Pac-Man titles in the mid-2010s, culminating with Ghostly Adventures.
Pokkén Tournament is a fighting video game developed by Bandai Namco Entertainment. The game combines gameplay elements from Bandai Namco's Tekken series and other fighting games, such as 3D and 2D movement, with characters from the Pokémon franchise. Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a 2014 point-and-click survival horror game developed and published by Scott Cawthon. It is the second installment in the Five Nights at Freddy's series. Set in a fictional pizzeria, the player takes on the role of a night security guard and must defend themselves from the restaurant's hostile animatronic mascots. The player cannot leave their office, but has access to security cameras throughout the restaurant to monitor animatronic activity. Wearing a mask that looks like one of the animatronics allows the player to avoid being detected in most cases, though some animatronics are repelled through other methods. If an animatronic enters the office and the player is detected, they will be killed. As the game progresses, Atari-styled minigames and phone calls provide insight into the history of the restaurant.
Agent A: A Puzzle In Disguise is a puzzle adventure video game developed and published by Australian studio Yak & Co. The player's mission is to infiltrate enemy spy Ruby La Rouge's secret hideaway and put a stop to her evil plans.
TumbleSeed is an indie action video game, created by developer Benedict Fritz and designer Greg Wohlwend, in which the player balances a rolling seed on an ascending, horizontally slanted vine past procedurally generated obstacles to reach the top of a mountain. It is based on the mechanical arcade game Ice Cold Beer and built partially through the Cards Against Humanity game incubation program. TumbleSeed was released in May 2017 to generally favorable reviews on MacOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows platforms. The minigames are composed of virtual reality adaptations of the main entries in the series in addition to several new experiences. Touhou Spell Bubble is a rhythm based competitive arcade puzzle game developed in 2020 by Taito as an officially licensed spin-off in the Touhou Project series. Shovel Knight: King of Cards is a downloadable content (DLC) expansion for the 2014 platform game Shovel Knight, developed and published by Yacht Club Games.
