Crooked Stick Golf Club is a golf club located in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb north of Indianapolis. The 18-hole Pete and Alice Dye designed golf course was built in 1964. It has been noted as one of the top 100 courses in the United States by Golfweek and Golf Magazine , two of golf's most popular magazines.

Crooked Stick was host to the PGA Championship in 1991 won by John Daly and the U.S. Women’s Open in 1993, won by Lauri Merten. It also hosted the Solheim Cup matches in 2005. Crooked Stick also hosted the PGA Tour's BMW Championship in 2012 and 2016, when Dustin Johnson won with a record breaking -23.

Davis Milton Love III is an American professional golfer who has won 21 events on the PGA Tour, including one major championship: the 1997 PGA Championship. He won the Players Championship in 1992 and 2003. He was in the top 10 of the Official World Golf Ranking for over 450 weeks, reaching a high ranking of 2nd. Johnny Miller American golfer

John Laurence Miller is an American former professional golfer. He was one of the top players in the world during the mid-1970s. The 1991 PGA Championship was the 73rd PGA Championship, held August 8–11 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana, a suburb north of Indianapolis. John Daly won the first of his two major titles, three strokes ahead of runner-up Bruce Lietzke.

The Bethpage Black Course is a public golf course at Bethpage State Park on Long Island, New York. Opened in 1936, it was designed by Bethpage State Park superintendent Joseph H. Burbeck, who was also responsible for the park's Blue and Red Courses in the mid-1930s. Brief consultation was also provided by noted golf architect A. W. Tillinghast. It is the most difficult of Bethpage's five courses, and is known for the warning sign at the first tee, placed in the early 1980s, which reads "The Black Course Is An Extremely Difficult Course Which We Recommend Only For Highly Skilled Golfers."

Five strokes back after three rounds, Lauri Merten fired a 68 (−4) to win her only major title, one stroke ahead of runners-up Donna Andrews and Helen Alfredsson, the 54-hole leader.

Sedgefield Country Club

Sedgefield Country Club is a country club in the eastern United States, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, southwest of the city center. Established in 1925, it is primarily known for its golf course and the PGA Tour event it has held since 2008: the Wyndham Championship, formerly the Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, and the Greater Greensboro Open (GGO).
