Crossroads Bible College was a private undergraduate Bible college located in Indianapolis, Indiana. It later merged with the College of Biblical Studies.
Early in 1980, James S. Wells met with Rev. Ken Davis and Rev. Clint Kaufield to discuss establishing a Bible college in Indianapolis. Baptist Bible College of Indianapolis opened in the Fall of 1980 as an evening school. The school incorporated in 1981. Despite a lack of accreditation, they started to offer bachelor's degrees in 1983. [1] In February 1999 the school established legal accreditation through the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges, now the Association for Biblical Higher Education. [2]
Trinity International University (TIU) is an evangelical Christian university headquartered in Bannockburn, Illinois. It comprises Trinity College, Trinity Graduate School, a theological seminary, a law school, and a camp called Timber-lee. The university also maintains campuses in North Lauderdale, Florida & Miami, Florida; the camp is located in East Troy, Wisconsin. TIU is the only university affiliated with Evangelical Free Church of America in the United States and enrolls about 2,700 students. On February 17, 2023, TIU announced it was moving the undergraduate program to online modalities only and closed the residential campus at the end of the Spring 2023 semester.
The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) is a regional educational accreditor recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. As of 2022, the organization oversees approx. 750 public and private degree-granting educational institutions in the Southern United States. Its headquarters are in North Druid Hills, Georgia, near Decatur, in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Free Lutheran Bible College and Seminary (FLBCS) is one institution of higher education consisting of two programs, the undergraduate Free Lutheran Bible College (FLBC) and the four-year pastoral training program Free Lutheran Seminary (FLS). FLBCS is accredited through the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (TRACS), a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), and an associate member of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE). The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), formerly The Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC) is an evangelical Christian organization of bible colleges in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. It is a member of the International Council for Evangelical Theological Education. The ABHE is interdenominational but requires annual affirmation of a common statement of beliefs. It is headquartered in Orlando, Florida.
American Accrediting Association of Theological Institutions (AAATI) is a Christian nonprofit organization based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. It was founded by Cecil Johnson, president of Christian Bible College, a distance education Bible college based in Rocky Mount North Carolina.

The school was founded as the Houston Bible & Vocational Institute in 1976. The mission of the College of Biblical Studies is, “The College of Biblical Studies exists to glorify God by educating and equipping multi-ethnic Christian leaders to impact the world for Christ.” In 2008, the college had 1,399 students. In 2019, the college had 460 students with 134 of them being full-time. In 2007, 51% of students were African-American and 23% were Hispanic. In 2019, 47% of the students were black, 24% Hispanic, 17% white, and 8% Asian. The College offers classes online and at three campus locations in Houston, TX, Indianapolis, IN, and Fort Wayne, IN.
Union Bible College and Academy is a private, Christian educational institution combining a KG-12 academy and college in Westfield, Indiana. It was founded in 1861 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), receiving patronage from the Central Yearly Meeting and being aligned with the conservative holiness movement. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
