Curt Malawsky (born May 10, 1970 in Coquitlam, British Columbia) is a former box lacrosse player and currently the General Manager and Head Coach of the Vancouver Warriors of the National Lacrosse League. [1] Malawsky played for eleven seasons in the NLL and appeared in five Champion's Cup finals, three with Rochester, one with Arizona, and finally winning the title with Calgary in his final season in 2009. [2] He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame as a box player in 2015. In 2022, he was inducted into the Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame. [3]

Malawsky is also the coach of the Coquitlam Adanacs Jr. A lacrosse team. He led the Adanacs to the BC Junior A Lacrosse League title and won the Minto Cup national championship in 2010, for which he was named the British Columbia Lacrosse Association's Coach of the Year. [4]

His brother Derek also plays in the NLL, and the two played together in Rochester, San Jose, and in Arizona.

Shawn Williams is the inaugural General Manager and Head Coach of the Las Vegas Desert Dogs in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). He is a former Canadian lacrosse player who played for the Ontario Raiders, Toronto Rock, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Knighthawks and Edmonton Rush of the NLL and the Hamilton Nationals of Major League Lacrosse. He was also previously a scout for the Buffalo Bandits and assistant coach with the Colorado Mammoth. He was inducted to the NLL Hall of Fame in 2021 as a first ballot nominee.

The Les Bartley Award is given annually to the National Lacrosse League head coach of the year. The award was simply called the Head Coach of the Year award until 2004, when the award was renamed in honour of Les Bartley, the most successful coach in NLL history.

Andrew McBride is a Canadian professional box lacrosse player for the Calgary Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and Coquitlam Adanacs of the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA). He was the fourth overall selection by the Roughnecks at the 2002 NLL Draft, and has played for Calgary since the 2003 season, and has won two Champion's Cup titles with the team in 2004 and 2009. Additionally, he won the Presidents Cup, Canada's senior B championship, in 2004. McBride also competed in the 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championships for the Ireland national team.

The 2009 National Lacrosse League season, the 23rd in the history of the NLL, began January 3, 2009 in Buffalo, Portland, and Sunrise, Florida, and concluded with the Calgary Roughnecks defeating the New York Titans 12—10 in the Champion's Cup on May 15, 2009 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Tyler Richards is a lacrosse coach and former professional Canadian lacrosse goaltender. He is the goaltending coach for the Calgary Roughnecks of the National Lacrosse League. As a player, he played for the Calgary Roughnecks, Washington Stealth, Vancouver Stealth and San Jose Stealth of the NLL as well as the New Westminster Salmonbellies of the WLA. From 2005 to 2007, he played for the Coquitlam, BC, Adanacs of the BC Junior A Lacrosse League.

He made his debut with the Brampton Jr. Excelsiors of the Ontario Junior A Lacrosse League in 1988, winning the league's rookie of the year award. Teat began playing for the Major Excelsiors of Major Series Lacrosse in 1993, once again winning his league's rookie of the year award. Andy Ogilvie is a former professional lacrosse player. He played for the Buffalo Bandits, Vancouver Ravens and Calgary Roughnecks in the National Lacrosse League. His NLL career lasted from 1999 to 2007. He was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 2014 along with Gary Gait and Paul Gait.

Tanner Fetch is a former Canadian professional box lacrosse goaltender for Panther City Lacrosse Club of the National Lacrosse League and a professional sports analyst for the NLL on Bleacher Report Live. Fetch played goaltender for the Irish National Team at the European Box Lacrosse Championships in Turku, Finland.
