Curtis Onaghinor (born 13 February 1980) is a Nigerian male weightlifter, competing in the 105 kg category and representing Nigeria at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the 105 kg event. [1]

Athletics at the 1990 Commonwealth Games

At the 1990 Commonwealth Games, the athletics events were held at the Mount Smart Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand from 27 January to 3 February 1990. A total of 42 events were contested, 23 by male and 19 by female athletes.

Nigeria at the 2014 Commonwealth Games

Nigeria competed in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July – 3 August 2014.

The 2014 Commonwealth Games, was a multi-sport event held in Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July to 3 August 2014. It was the first time that Glasgow hosted the games, and the third time it was hosted in Scotland after Edinburgh hosted in 1970 and 1986. A total of 4,947 athletes from 71 Commonwealth Games Associations (CGAs) competed in 261 events in 17 sports.

Santoshi Matsa is an Indian weightlifter who won the silver medal in the women's 53 kg weight class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow. Matsa had originally finished in bronze medal position, but the gold medal winner Chika Amalaha of Nigeria failed a drug test, elevating Matsa to silver medal position. Santoshi lifted a total of 188 kg — 83 kg in snatch and 105 in clean and jerk.
