Carn Chuinneag (839 m) is a mountain in the Northwest Highlands of Scotland, south of Strathcarron in Sutherland.

A distinct twin-summited peak, it lies in a little visited but attractive corner of the Highlands. The nearest village is Ardgay [2]

The nearest settlements are Newtonmore and Kingussie in the Spey valley. The rocky slopes of Carn Dearg and A' Chailleach contrast with the remainder of the Monadh Liath, which are described by Cameron McNeish as "sprawling, undistinguished affairs".
